he   tries   his   best   not   to   come   off   as   harsh,   but   notices   the   way   his   friend   almost   immediately   reacts   when   he   tells   him   to   stop   talking.   his   head   tilts   to   the   side,   eyes   observing   Liam's   expression   until   the   older's   eyes   rise   to   meet   his.   Noah   clears   his   throat,   noting   the   way   it   seems   like   he's   QUESTIONING   him.  

"you   ramble   too   much   at   times,"   he   grumbles,   quirking   a   brow.   "you   may   be   an   asshole   sometimes,   but   you're   too   hard   on   yourself   even   when   others   aren't   around   to   criticize   you.   i'm   not   going   to   judge   you   and   i   don't   think   ill   of   you   or   else   i   wouldn't   be   here."

PATIENCE   could   easily   be   killed   in   the   young   demon   if   faced   with   an   uncooperative   individual,   or   if   it   was   just   a   downright   off   day.   today   isn't   an   off   day   and   no   one's   being   uncooperative,   he   just   finds   his   patience   running   thin   as   the   other   runs   their   mouth   on   a   subject   he   cares   LITTLE   about,   weighing   the   chances   of   being   fussed   at   should   he   just   tell   them   to   be   quiet.

he   sighs   and   rubs   at   his   nose,   ever   so   tempted   to   just   run   for   the   hills   and   never   look   back,   but   the   way   his   friend   speaks   with   such   P   A   S   S   I   O   N   is   amusing.   it's   cute,   to   be   perfectly   honest,   and   he   wishes   he   knew   of   something   other   than   drinking   games   and   cooking   that   interested   him   as   much.   

"that's   great,"   he   pretends   to   have   not   ZONED   OUT   halfway   into   the   rambling.   "i   wouldn't   have   known   anything   about   that   if   you   hadn't   told   me.   thank   you.   knowledge   is   amazing."

every now and then, the young demon CRAVES A FIGHT. it’s never anything too serious unless he’s -- of course -- HUNTING, but all he wants right now is a good time. 

he crouches behind his V I C T I M, flinging a balled up piece of paper at the back of their head, one side of his lips curving upward into a smirk. Noah quirks an eyebrow and observes the other’s frustration as he then begins launching a series of paper balls at them, standing up when the other turns to finally CONFRONT him.

“ne?” he teases, this time throwing one of his mini weapons right between their eyes. .

Christmas isn’t so much a foreign idea to him as much as it is CONFUSING. maybe it was his biased in his opinion -- you know, being a demon and all -- that prevented him from understanding its significance entirely. but regardless, humans spent two days -- oftentimes, an entire MONTH -- celebrating the birth of a person they weren’t even around to know. and to make matters worse; Jesus Christ was not born on December 25th. his actual birthday was in the summer... so why they felt the need to celebrate the occasion on a seemingly IRRELEVANT date was beyond him.

Noah loved his parents though, so for their amusements and to SPARE their feelings, the demon played along with the holiday. he enjoyed the gifts but suffered through the festivities, wearing a false smile and forcing laughter. 

“call me Scrooge, but the only redeemable features about this dumbass holiday are the gifts and eggnog... speaking of which, pass that over.” he gestured his friend to hand over the eggnog, planning on taking full advantage of free alcohol.
