Phycoco
1. The fins on his back are not solid and he has no muscle control in them at all. They’re thin and flexible (possibly see through to an extent in certain light) and primarily used for balance both in and out of water. They come in handy doing his rigging work on the ship.
2. Phyco was created by the scientists specifically for subterfuge. His bold colors actually hide his hidden potential (and ability). But being a “failure”, they never really used him beyond being a show and tell subject for future projects.
3. He has many scarves he keeps for different occasions, but the green one he normally wears is his favorite and has a lot of sentimental value.
4. Phyco lived on the same island for roughly 18 years before he met the DFT.
5. His skin colors when he was a child were not as bright and actually looked really ruddy and brown. The colors (and freckles) filled in when he was a teenager. A typical trait of actual sea dragons.
