I remember this 1937 house in Twin Peaks, CA. I posted it around 2 yrs. ago and it's a very special home b/c it's been hand-decorated by artist/designer Christine McConnell. 2bds, 2ba, 948sqft. $479k. BTW, the listing says, "May be available furnished, for those who understand its magic."

Enter directly into the cozy living room featuring a brick fireplace and wood coffered ceiling.

And, look at the little dining room tucked in next to the stairs.
It features 2 built-in corner cabinets. The walls are hand stenciled and it even has wainscoting.
Bedroom #1 is so pretty, and the "wallpaper" is handpainted by the owner.

It's actually large enough for this lovely dresser.
The home is listed as a 2bd, but it also ais this 3rd bedroom, but it doesn't count, b/c it doesn't have a closet.
But, look at this- it's got a bonus space.
This is what it looks like on the other side. It can be anything the new owner likes- a studio, home office, or conservatory.
It's so pretty and unique, on a raised open platform with columns.
Bedroom #2 is on the 2nd floor.

ok so this is another long shot but a few years ago there was a twitter post (in japanese i think?) that had measurememts for how to make this book stand thing out of cardboard that you could use to double up books and use up more space on shelves
back then i made a bunch of these but by now i lost the pic and dont know how to find the original post anymore
if it comes down to it i can just take one apart and get the measurements from there but i would be very grateful if anyone happens to have the original post or something similar??
don't mind how long it's been since i made this post, anyway i realized that i don't even need to take one apart to get the measurements when i can literally just unfold it and refold it /FACEPALM
so anyway here is the diagram for anyone else who is interested!!
this requires pretty big carboard pieces, if you have a really big box or something you can make it from one piece, but if you don't, you can also just make each of the pieces individually and then tape them together
and then in the end you put it together like this!!
and then when you make a bunch you can put them all next to each other and stack your books like crazy

Only 1% of the entire world’s population has vitiligo but I see so many artists making characters with it when they sometimes don’t even know what vitiligo is and pass it off as “skin pigmentation”. Like— what does that even mean??? XD
It’s not an aesthetic and it won’t get you “diversity points” so stop romanticizing vitiligo!
Honestly very happy to see this, especially the part that emphasises that skin tone has nothing to do with the likeliness of developing vitiligo. You can be as white as snow and have it.

Here’s the thing I feel like a lot of folks don’t get: I’m not trying to forget what you said. Honestly, I really tried not to. I can’t control what I do and don’t remember—forgetting things just happens. It’s annoying for you, I know, but for me it’s distressing as hell and when you make a big deal out of it rather than just reminding me you make me feel ashamed. I’ll remember that, at least.
It costs you nothing to be kind to people with memory problems. Please. It’s scary enough without people treating memory lapses as a personal failing.
