(Edit: mild mild spoilers for after TMOD)Here are some domestic mphfpc headcanons for when they're in-between the chaos:
when enoch is collecting specimens and organs millard sometimes tags along and they discuss anatomy science in-depth together
fiona teaches whoever's willing to basket weave (horace is first to learn, olive doesnt have the attention span, millard already taught himself eons ago, bronwyn becomes obsessed and has made 5 already)
Fiona knows how to sketch,, really really well. Hugh volunteers to pose for her whenever he sees her drawing.
Fiona and Horace often make paint and fabric dye together naturally made from her flowers
Millard is almost never in the house. I think we already knew this but he knows just about everyone in the Acre, peculiar or not. And he's good friends with most.
Horace also volunteers to model for Fiona, she loves sketching his ootd, and sometimes she draws new clothing designs and horace attempts to sew it for her
Sorry, I'm really pushing it with the whole "Fiona draws" thing, but she 100% makes paper dolls for claire too
Hugh has found some very weird bugs, and was able to see some of the famous moth evolution which happened at the time of the acre, (yk the one where they went from white to peppered bc of the smog), and immediately told millard about it
Though usually Miss Peregrine is in Bentham's former house on business, when she is at the wards' house she attempts to give any lessons she can to the kids.... mostly fencing which olive, after some time arguing whether she's old enough to do it or not, is kind of ridiculously great at (they stick lard at the sword tips, so it's perfectly safe)
Enoch, who usually cares less for anything other than sleeping, pacing, or organizing.. organs... has taken up writing witty, smart-ass journal entries. Noone knows this except millard, who is pleasantly surprised of how good a writer he is.
Bronwyn occasionally goes on supply runs outside the Acre, (pre-ymbryne shield) and has secretly found a hobby in reading ya fiction and new age classics. she sometimes accidentally references a story in casual conversation and noone knows what she's on about
Millard, on a supply run, somehow found a portable, battery operated record player and some records at a music store that Lily recommended through the email system outside the acre at the library. (He's not supposed to be contacting her because of the Noor situation, but what's the harm for non-peculiar related conversation? )
Olive is not-so-subtly having an Ancient Greece phase
Millard has adopted a poisonous toad from the Ditch
Claire found a stringy German Shepard that only listens to her and now is... Even more threatening than before...
