Harrison Ford on the set of “ Devil’s Own “ 1997
Things we learn on the podcast...
Harrison Ford grew this mustache (to the left) in an effort to convince Alan J. Pakula (the director) to let him done the facial hair for The Devil’s Own, telling a reporter who asked that it was in fact for the film. Unconvinced, Pakula told Ford to shave it before shooting. Cut to 2016, Harrison Ford tells a crowd that his beard (to the right) is for Blade Runner 2049. Only he shaves it and cuts his hair before filming? Could this be the same issue as with the mustache of 1995? Or is Han Solo still alive? Or in flashbacks? We did learn during script development for a third Jack Ryan film,( that twice never happened) when asked about if he would return as Jack Ryan he would answer, “He’s resting...” Cut to 2016... and what does Harrison Ford say when asked if he will return as Han Solo.. “He’s resting...”(x) Re-Blog and tell us your thoughts?
Tune into the podcast (x) as we find clues in the past toward the future....

Harrison Ford in Devil’s Own1997
Devil's Own - K.M. Neuhold (Palm Island, book 6)
Synopsis
There’s nothing Devil loves more than giving Angel whatever he wants, especially when it’s what he wants too. The only question is… Does Raven want them?
Of course, I’ve noticed Angel and Devil noticing me. I’ve felt their eyes and the deep pulse of their heated wanting. I’ve also seen plenty of men coming and going from their house all summer long, year after year, and I don’t want to be one in a long line.
The energy of Palm Island is so strong, it’s hard not to get swept up in it sometimes. Temporary lust, the hedonistic thrill of excess… I’m only human after all. But something stops me every time I want to give in and let go.
I’ve managed to avoid getting too close to Angel and Devil… until now. Months of endless, heated dreams and the long, lonely slog of the winter are threatening to break my resolve. And all the tarot cards and tea leaves in the world couldn’t prepare me for what they’re really like.
What if all the three-ways are just because they’re desperately searching for something? What if soulmates can come in thirds? What if I let go and see what happens?
Just because I play the part of a psychic, doesn’t mean I know a damn thing about relationships or how we’re going to make this one work…
My Thoughts
Raven’s been known as Palm Island’s resident psychic for as long as he’s lived on the island. And though he’s more attuned to finer details, and he pays very close attention to his surroundings, he’s not actually psychic. He’s just incredibly observant, and he trust his instincts. But sometimes, he ignores those instincts much to his own detriment.
Angel and Devil have been married for fifteen years, but they’ve never really entertained the idea of monogamy. They have rules and boundaries for when they invite someone else into their bed, but those rules exist for the tourists who visit the island every year. Those rules don’t exist for the person they really want as their partner. Those rules don’t exist for Raven.
But Raven is guarded. He’s terrified of leaning into the feelings he has for Devil and Angel. He’s terrified of wrecking the atmosphere of the home he’s built for himself, from the roots of his ancestors. But Angel and Devil are patient. They can wait for Raven to catch up. They just have to reinforce that they’re in this for the long haul.
As the residents of Palm Island have each found their happily ever afters, they’ve all always known that Raven, Devil, and Angel belonged together. They’ve been rooting for them from the beginning. And they’ve been just as patient as the three men in question have been. But to say them getting together was a relief is an understatement.
A running theme through his series has been the love, support, and acceptance that the family of Palm Island have for each other. And that’s especially true in this instance – with the easy acceptance they have for the way the marriage between Angel and Devil adapts to accommodate Raven becoming an equal partner in their relationship. There was no fanfare, no questions, no remarks. Just support and celebration for members of the family finding their happiness.
While this seems to be the end of this series for now, I don’t think Palm Island is quite finished with us yet. But I can be patient. I can wait. The island has more love to give, and more stories to tell. And until she’s ready to share her stories, I can be patient. But I will say, I’m looking forward to whatever may come next.
