Oprah Winfrey's deviled eggs are a classic and delightful appetizer. These creamy and flavorful deviled eggs make for a perfect addition to any gathering or brunch.
Ingredients: 6 large eggs. 3 tablespoons mayonnaise. 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard. 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar. 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1/8 teaspoon paprika. Fresh chives for garnish.
Instructions: Put the eggs in a saucepan in a single layer and cover them with water. Over high heat, bring the water to a boil. Then, lower the heat to low and let it simmer for 9 to 12 minutes, depending on how thick or thin you want the yolks to be. Put the eggs in a bowl of ice water to cool down for a few minutes. Then, peel them and cut them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks with care and put them in a bowl. Use a fork to mash the yolks. You can mix the mashed yolks with Dijon mustard, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until it's nice and smooth. Put the egg yolk mixture back into the egg white halves with a spoon or a pipe. For extra flavor, sprinkle paprika over the deviled eggs and top them with fresh chives. Chill until you're ready to serve.
