It was not unknown to Vergil the power of Yamato, especially when it came to traversing the city in mere moments. He could teleport moderate distances at best with his own powers, but should he want to travel somewhere out of sight, such as the other end of the city, Yamato was the power he required.
What wasn’t fully known to him had been the repercussions of Limbo merging into the human world. His scientists had brought up the potential of other worlds beyond just theirs and the Biblical realms, yes, but he’d tabled those for a later discussion, once Mundus was no longer an issue. Unfortunately, all that information was lost between the Order being blown apart, and his scientists being mercilessly slaughtered. So the thought had left his mind.
Hand clutching the old wound to his chest, a portal sliced through realms and allowed him a quick escape, only to find himself--not in Limbo City. He was at the ruins of a house that looked similar to the distant memories of his own home, yes, but it was...much more desolate. It looked to have been in disrepair for decades, not quite as long as he’d been away.
Town wasn’t difficult to find, and a glove gripped Yamato protectively, using it as support until he came across a flashy sign. Devil May Cry. A scoff leaves him, but it wouldn’t surprise him if Dante had the balls to set up such a place with Kat, to protect the world. But...no, it wasn’t his style, it really wasn’t. So, in he went, looking around curiously as the door closed behind him.
