a really big reason as to why i couldn't bring myself to like hyun gyu's character this season is because I geninely believe his edit has made him look a lot cleverer than he actually is.

there has not been a single game where i genuinely think he has shown any true prowess. even in the corrupt cop game, he was carried heavy by tinno's, kyu hyun's and 7high's plan even if he did not know it, because the red team seemed like it had so much corruption that the blue team seemed likely to not have a corrupt cop. i find it rather irritating to see him being so harsh to hyunjoon about his abilities when sohui and tinno have provided most of the good strategies and gameplay honestly. even the hidden game was found by kyu hyun, and solved by sohui. the only real thing he has is persistence, which does not work a lot of the time honestly.

i find these kind of characters irritating because if you're going to be cocky, you need to back it up. dong jae in season 1 may have been seemingly arrogant at first but at the very least it was always his plan that went through with and he always took responsiblity for any poor consequences for the team after, and he actually showed a lot of intelligence, even when his plans failed.

this kind of mooching off smarter, but more passive and kind players rubs me the wrong way because if you are here to win, you need to at least show off your own skill.

Am I the only one that is annoyed with this season of The Devil's plan.

-The riff between the living places (fancy & prison) is even bigger this time.

- I don't like the change of the fancy living place being able to watch the Death games.

- My favourites that are not afraid to play as individuals or in smaller alliances are all getting eliminated because of the big fancy alliance.

- The games seriously?! They are not so exciting or fun. They should have developed better games I feel like they are too repetitive and boring.

Enjoyed devil’s plan s1, there were some exciting moments

Season 2 felt like an overcorrection and I disliked how much the “prisoners” wear punished compared to season 1. Because the cast was usually separate, there wasn’t that spirit of camaraderie that s1 had. A certain player constantly supporting another player to the active detriment of their own game was bonkers. And they felt like they gave up in the final! The games also felt too similar, way too many betting games. The cast felt smarter but at the end, I couldn’t discern them as well as the s1 cast. The prisoners got far more airtime but they were setup for failure, the difference in hidden game rewards was unfun

The games took hours and you could tell. I don’t expect everything to be as snappy as main match/deathmatch setup of the genius but both games had players that should have gone home days ago hanging around.

Well I recently watched the game show The Devil’s plan and WOW why didn't I discover this show sooner??!????! It’s so amazing!!!!!🤩

Ngl I only watched it because I saw that Justin min was in it 😅(love you Ben 🫶) and I like game shows so why not give it a try and I was immediately hooked 😍 (although I started with season 2 and then I watched season 1 😶‍🌫️ (yeah sue me). Sorry I just wanted to see Justin at that moment 🤷‍♀️ I couldn’t wait) I loved the premise/concept of this show, the games and the players

Now who were my favorite player(s) in both seasons?🤔:

Season 1: honestly I didn’t really had a favorite player. Everyone had their charm I guess. But If I had to choose, maybe I will say Dong-joo. Sad she didn’t got into the finales 🙁 but hey we got two great finalists (also loved that each of them were from different alliances Iygwim). And I’m fine with the winner, it was a deserved win

Season 2: well hahah in this one I had my favorites for sure. My fave player was Justin (duh 😂) I really love his personality and loved him as a player. I’m happy he got at least far in the game. Next to Justin, 7high was also one of my favorites. Ngl I didn’t know what to think of him in the beginning but once he went to prison, I started to like him more and more. Tbh I was really rooting for one of the prisoners to win (sorry not sorry 🤷‍♀️). For me it was too obvious that one of the living room alliance would win (especially one specific player 👀 talk about him later 👀) so I felt not much for them. They played a great game but I prefer rooting for the underdogs and I love a good comeback story yk (unfortunately that didn’t happened 😭). And I also liked the prison trio (7high, eun-yu and ji-yeong) a lot, I really could laugh with them, my prison queen eun-yu survived so many eliminations games and was first one out most of the time so I can only respect that (esp with the food she gets there and have to play two (long) games every day sometimes untill midnight like again respect you got so far. Personally I would have got a crazy ass headache if I was her) and love how 7high tried to influence the game a bit by helping so-hui to reach first place and by that getting hyun-gyu to go to prison with hyun-joon. 7high was the mvp for me (especially in the second half of the season)

And now about the winner 😬, listen I respect his gameplay cause it worked out and he won so nothing to say about that but idk I couldn’t root for him or like him as a player. Not saying I hate him or anything for sure not (cuz like idk him outside this game. he probably a great guy) but idk I didn’t feel shit for him.. wasn’t likable enough for me I guess… 🤷‍♀️ and also I think once tinno was out of the game, I already had a feeling he would win anyway (and that he will be in the finale with so-hui) so the suspense was gone 🫤. (So I was kind of hoping someone would manage to eliminate him so it would get a bit exciting again, but too bad) but again he played a good game so congrats to him.

Side note: although I loved the games, please less betting/poker games next season 🙏🙏 It was too much at some point in season 2.

Anyway I really enjoyed it and can’t wait for season 3!!!! I will be there 😌↕️😌↕️😌

Tumblr made me start Frieren. And the summer Hikaru died is still on my list.

Is that a problem? Well, yes.

I still need to finish 4 books of the apothecary diaries, and I haven't finished Naruto yet! I'm still in that arc when they met Killer Bee...for the past 3 months!

I also need to finish the Devil's Plan season 2 and The King's affection. I don’t know how someone can procrastinate even the list of tv series to watch.

So I recently finished binging Devil’s Plan on Netflix! And it was phenomenal!! I absolutely love logic puzzles and escape room style games. This show was truly tailored to my tastes hahah. So in the end of the first season one of the winning games was Nine Mens Morris.

I immediately made myself a board so I could play with my friends!

It was super easy and I love playing it. But then I thought about making it easier to take with me to the park or just out and about. So I thought about making I kind of drawstring layflat bag.

I’ve never sewed anything before but figured this could be a simple easy intro to sewing and embroidery!

Well I just finished my “prototype” bag and I’m super happy. I’ve learned so much and can’t wait to make this again but better!!

It’s pretty shoddy but was made entirely by hand with donated materials so I felt at ease “failing” this project so I could learn from it!
