I was looking for something else I hope to share soon and found this text captured in a fie while I was looking. If you have the issue this refers to, go look in the LETTERS column. Even though my site had an area devoted to the Devil's Due comics, I have to admit I didn't start out a big fan. VOLTRON: THE THIRD DIMENSION had moved forward from the original continuity, but this retelling didn't strike well with me. Probably because I started to have to admit it was decent storytelling... and when you've been entrenched in knowing the history details one way for so long, yes, sometimes it can be hard to change.
Since then, I have had an open mind to any VOLTRON continuity. The key is good storytelling.
