@devilshowdy with “bad luck to lie to a comrade-in-arms.” for chris in probably a situation where he's stuck with her for a bit (:
There were a few things about her statement that almost made Chris laugh.
One, they weren’t comrades. Certainly not in arms. Chris barely knew this woman– if anything, for the better half of just under an hour while they were stuck in a section of the building that, conveniently, had been locked down on them.
Two, bad luck came to Chris in the same way the sun rose in the sky every morning. Consistently, and effortlessly. Being stuck with someone he’d barely had a rundown on only furthered that theory.
“A lot of assumptions in one little statement. Bold ones, at that.” Chris continued his walk around the perimeter, half a mind to her figure behind him as he peeled his eyes for anything he’d missed, anything that could get them out before he’d started charging himself at the fucking door. “If you wanna point fingers with accusations, maybe it’s better to start with telling me your name. Why you’re in here in the first place. What’s a place like this got any business dealing with someone like you?”
It was upon his inquiries that he’d turned on his heel, his exploration disappointing. He angled his features in her direction, the questions lingering with a narrowed grace to his inspection upon her silhouette; the coating of distrust leveled itself within the scale of his brows, the expression stoic at best.
@devilshowdy liked for a special message- This is normal. Right? I mean, people do it all the time. They don't even think about it, usually. They just click! and hit send. Thousands of thousands of images like this existed all across the internet, for a thousand different reasons. So why, exactly, was Lena so damn nervous about it? "Its just a picture. A treat for her. A little gift from her..." ...What, were they exactly...? 'Doesn't matter.' She pursed her lips as she nearly hit delete on the photo. "Fuck it." Send
Lena stood in little more than a lacy black thong and thin, see-through bralette to match- the pink nubs of her nipples easily visible and poking out gently from the thin fabric. Her left hand was running through her hair, which was- somewhat uncharacteristically- allowed to fall to its natural chin-length. Her other hand was holding her cell, carefully angled to hide most of her face- The time would come for intimate moments of eye contact, but this? This was not that moment. Her pale, vanilla-toned skin shimmered softly in the warm, orange lighting of her apartment, seemingly gently doused in body oil. Though, Lena's favorite part, was the dangling leash that sat loosely between her breasts, leading the eye up to a tight leather collar, wrapped around her neck- Message from - Zippy: 'Say, Cowgirl. Think I can get you in the saddle tonight?'

bob appearing with a homemade birthday cake for wuyang. ashe was dragged along, and is very much willing to pretend she had any idea- "congrats, kid! another year alive~ bob here makes th'best damn birthday cakes you'll ever eat! i insisted he make y'one." the omnic is in-fact rolling his eyes but the cake is frosted with a water symbol decoration, vanilla flavor frosting, chocolate inside. "enjoy it. eh, happy birthday." she's giving in to being a little nice. wasn't like she had anywhere better to be. a few candles popped in the top and lit with ashe's lighter. at least he'd have a good cake, and when y'didn't have family close by, it was as good as it got.
"Oh-!" Wuyang blinked, letting his shoulders drop and be at ease upon seeing the cake. "This is... wow..." Homemade! He took in every detail, finding the water motif a thoughtful touch. It's certainly one way to make a guy feel special. Can't quite say he expected this, but he sure did appreciate it!
"I mean- it's amazing! Thank you." All smiles he was. Such gestures and moments of respite, no matter how small and fleeting were meaningful. And he planned to appreciate every second.
"Bob's cooking is to die for, huh? I can't wait to dig in." Spirits lifted, he looked up at Ashe, beaming with energy. "Here, have a slice. Much as I want to, I can't eat the whole thing myself. Ooh, plates... I'll get the plates-"
Best thing about birthday cakes was that it's a gift to share.

"I'd totally fuck you" / weaver has my permission to just spritz her like a cat
He is just a man. A man, a simple man, draped in loose robes watering various plants he's brought into the hideout to liven up the place. Minding his business.
Silence fills the air. All but the sound of water trickling from a watering pot or the soft drip, drip, drip when his wrist tilts to stop. His smile doesn't waver, his brows do raise and his eyes glimmer something mischievous but it's all so disarmingly charming. He sets the pot down, his eyes finally tear away from her and his lips part to gasp, "Miss Ashe!" scandalised, he lays both of his arms across his chest as if to cover his body coyly.
"Is that all I am? A body for you to ogle over?"
"I'm hurt."

"all accordin' to plan." - kaeya about something that definitely did not go according to plan (:
One swift move and he's back up on his feet, casually brushing dirt off his clothes as if he wasn't not-so-gracefully tumbling on the ground mere moments ago. Kaeya hadn't had this much excitement in a while, all made possible with his new... oh, let's just say partner-in-crime.
"Bravo, you certainly showed them all who's in charge." Came the one-man applause complete with the celebratory clap of his hands. "Quite the show of finesse - the dramatic shootout and the explosive climax with that perfectly timed dynamite toss? Absolutely cinematic."
The fact that they just narrowly evaded the blast and flames themselves aside, they did make it through that skirmish mostly unscathed, and made short work of their adversaries. It was fun, genuinely. A bit of a hassle to report back to headquarters, but fun nonetheless.
"I do have one question, however..." A hand to his chin, he scanned the scene before them, some fire still going here and there. Particularly on the now damaged cargo.
"Wasn't the plan to secure the loot, boss?"

"so, 'bout that sword . . . i hear you're good with it, can y'really slice a bullet mid-air? or that just some spun rumor by folks who ain't got anythin' better to yap about?" oh, ashe wants to test those skills she's heard so much about. she ain't sure she'd readily start open firing at him for fun though. bold brow quirks to meet him, red hue skimming him up and down. had to be the cybernetics. but she can't tell if that's where the skill came from without seeing it herself. - bothers genji for no apparent reason
Genji regarded the question with a shift in his stance, head turned just so to let his gaze settle on Ashe. Like a flash of deja vu, he's sure he had a pretty similar conversation with a certain other gunslinger. Such staggering rumors were nigh impossible to let slide, it seems.
Still he obliged her with an answer, though with the mask on, it might be hard to tell if he was merely jesting or just about as intrigued (and invested) as she was.
"We could sate your curiosity right here and now." The offer was placed on the table. No hesitation, simple and to the point.
"so uh. when WAS the last time y'got a little action? since before we met, that's for sure. do y'need a wingwoman? i'm great at getting laid. so i'd wager i'm good at helping a friend, probably. same concept, right? it's a good night for huntin' ! c'mon it'd be fun, we can scope someone out who is juuuuuust your type. what's your poison anyway? men, women - . . . ?" she's a little buzzed and VERY bored.
“…”
Many options avail themselves to her, and none of them feel good. Xue knows that Ashe is trying, in her own, disastrous way, to do a good thing. She’s familiar with the fact that the cowgirl is known to bring people “home” from time to time - it’s a necessary part of her… process. Get a little drunk, find a willing participant and go at it.
Not, come to think of it, entirely dissimilar to the way Xue finds fights. Minus the drunkenness, of course, though now that the thought’s in her head the upstart is wondering whether they seek similar release in different… activities.
“I… don’t actually know. I’ve never…”
The statement finishes itself even if she doesn’t.
“That isn’t something I know how to do.”
