hey, hey !! just a few points for everyone. firstly, we will be holding our first activity check since the revamp on this coming friday. as you know, we will be focusing on activity per muse, so the use of the new muse tagging system is vital to stop anyone from being reopened ! i do understand that thanksgiving is coming up, so if you’re worried that your activity will be affected by such, please don’t hesitate to drop me a message. 

secondly, i would like to also point out the rules regarding starters in the tag. i don’t like to be nag-y, but please refrain from posting starters if there are still some in the tag that have less than 6 notes (it’s a rule for a reason). i really don’t want to hear from anyone that they’re feeling left out because i love you all so much.

hello, hello !!

i thought i would let you guys know that both admin cynn (until ???) and admin raiddy (until next monday) are on hiatuses. 

i (bambi) will be around the main as much as i can, but please don’t be disheartened if you don’t hear back from me for a few hours - (i’m probably lowkey sleeping or eating). if you can’t get a hold of me on here, don’t hesitate to pop me a message on @mcgnetics. i’ll have either account on my phone !!

first ever devilshq task !!

this task will focus on character development. as there is a vary in the amount of muses each mun has, there is no limit on how many characters you choose to complete this task for - go wild !!

we ask that you choose 4 character tropes for each character. this website will be your saviour for this task. you may want to go into detail about the tropes and why they’re relevant to your character - you may even make graphics to go with them !! there are no limits to this task. all we ask is that you have fun while delving into your characters. 

the task will run from today (the 21st) to next monday (28th) !!

as tasks will now be a regular (hopefully weekly/bi-weekly) event for this roleplay, we ask that you track the tag devilshqtask. this tag will also be your place to tag all your tasks so everyone can see them.

one last hold over from our revamp -- the players of the following faceclaims will have until wednesday [ EST ] to submit their new character information. failure to do so will, sadly, result in the character being reopened. the fcs being held are :

AMBER HEARD, ANDY BIERSACK, BOB MORELY, CAM GIGANDET, CHARLES MICHAEL DAVIS, DANIEL SHARMAN, EMMY ROSSUM, EVAN PETERS, GIGI HADID, HOLLAND RODEN, IU, JACKSON RATHBONE, JESSICA SULA, KYLE GALLNER, MAE WHITMAN, NICO TORTORELLA, ROBERT SHEEHAN, RYAN MCCARTAN, SKY FERREIRA, TAISSA FARMIGA,( based on the list of characters we had pre - revamp )

and with that, the revamp is finally complete !!

like we originally said, the revamp wasn’t extensive, but it hopefully will help with the success of this rp in the long term.

from the results of the survey, we would like to address a few things. 1) the member cap will remain at 25. this may be reviewed at a later date, but for now, this is general consensus. 2) the cap on muses per mun will remain limitless - however, this is also something that will be reviewed (no decisions will be made without the input of you guys, don’t worry!) 3). there will most definitely be more activity checks and per the new rules regarding activity on each muse, rather than the account as the whole, we hope that this will prevent fc hoarding and other issues that have cropped up regarding activity. 

a few suggestions that came from the survey: more tasks, more events, more plot drops and meme/anon days. these will all be implemented (some sooner than you think ;))). we want to make this space as interesting as it can possibly be for you amazing writers. 

one concern that did come up through the survey that we would also like to address is the nature of this roleplay. we would gladly like to inform you that the genre of this roleplay will not be changing with the revamp. as is the case for a lot of us, the quite frankly fucked-up nature of devilshq is what attracted us.

hello, everyone !!

i’ve been working on a little something to help start this revamp in a positive light. i’ve seen these done before and i knew that i wanted to do it with this group.

our first ever devilshq positivity survey

the point of this is to celebrate the beauty of the group and its muns while keeping everything anonymous ( which i think adds to the fun !! ) this is not mandatory, so please don’t feel pressured to take part !! however, if you do take part, we ask that you fill out each mun’s box so no one is left out.

the survey is in two parts due to me not having a premium surveymonkey account ( #2real ), so i’m sorry about that. i also really hope i have got all the logistics right in terms of who is who. further rules can be found on the survey pages themselves.
