Yes, I know i’m late in uploading these, but I had to get an ok from everybody first, and I decided to do it when I had nothing else to post

Plus A lot of people seemed to like my Ciel dress, which is awesome.

Kinda/Sorta Making of Ciel Dress

I started with a cheap 20$ dress from Goodwill

The front had this weird layer that overlapped, so I just ripped the seam and had more fabric to work with.

Then I sewed the black ribbon and some gathering tape to ruffle the front and hike it up a bit.

Thankfully the dress was too big, so I sewed sections together and added lace loops to hold the ribbon and tie the back.

Sewed a giant rectangle of fabric and connected it around the dress, leaving room for arm holes.  Added bows and extended ribbon up and to the side.

Made a slit in the back and took extra fabric from front layer to make the bow.  You can see the safety pins holding the ribbon I brought from the front.

To make it fit better I wore one of my corsets underneath and bought a petticoat to slip the dress over.  Last few pics are taken by Devin Panda
