GO GO GO
I FINISHED THE RESPONSE NOW I JUST HAVE TO DO ONE PAGE OF NOTES FOR THE TEST I HAVE TO TAKE EARLY TOMORROW.
All in the Family: Part One (Wanda)
It wasn't often that anyone really bothered to call Wanda outside of family. That's how she knew it could only be one of three people. Still, it was always a surprise. How pleasant of one she couldn't be sure. Normally if people needed her it was to prevent an apocalypse. Or create one. She hoped for the former.
"Hello?"
"LOOK OUT YOUR WINDOW."
Wanda jerked the phone away from her at the excited scream. The voice was unmistakable though. "Anya? What are you talking about?" Anya was never one for pranks.
Wanda walked towards the window and drew back the curtains. The sight outside nearly caused her to scream as well. Anya was outside waving like a hyperactive child.
"But...but...we're four floors up!"
"I KNOW!"
"How are you...?"
"I'M FLYING!"
"But...your powers..."
"YESTERDAY. IT HAPPENED YESTERDAY. I CAN TEAR APART THE UNIVERSE AND I CAN FLY."
"Slow down. What was the first part of tha--"
"STOP ASKING QUESTIONS AND BE EXCITED FOR ME, SISTER."
Stand Down (Anya Lehnsherr short)
"Kid, get behind me," Anya Lehnsherr shoved the young teen back as the two Sentinel's advanced.
The city block was in a shambles as pedestrians ran to get undercover. Black military helicopters hummed overhead.
MUTANT PRESENCE DETECTED.
"Stand down, stand down," Anya shouted both to the robots and into a comm on her wrist that she had hacked to the frequency of the radios in the 'copters. "The girl is with me. Repeat. The girl is with me.She has her powers under control and she is with me. Tell your Sentinels to stand down."
The comm crackled with static. "The mutant will be taken into custody for questioning. Eliminate the target. Target is a known mutant terrorist."
The girl had started screaming behind her as the Sentinel's began charging for an attack. "Negative. We are unarmed and mean you no harm. Stand down," Anya shouted into the comm.
Where in the hell was Cyclops with his team? Or Logan for that matter? If she hadn't gotten to the girl in time she would have been ash on the sidewalk. "Hey, it's okay kid," she said. "I've got friends in high places and one day you'll learn how to get out of tougher scraps than this. Trust me."
TARGET LOCKED.
"We are unarmed," Anya repeated back into the comm, keeping her voice steady and level. Where were the damn X-Men? "We are unarmed. Do not engage. Request to stand down."
INITIALIZING
"I said STAND DOWN!"
Anya felt her vision go dark. No, not just dark, she felt pulled out of her own body. Violet energy jumpstarted her veins and she screamed. Her teeth were clamped together. We're they electrocuting her? No, they couldn't have been. She hadn't even seen a charge come at them. The energy pooled away from her like the last threads unwinding from a ball of yarn and she slumped over a bit, feeling her vision restore in pieces.
Sounds came first.
"Oh my god. Oh my god," the girl was gasping behind her, clutching her shoulder so hard it hurt.
"What?" Anya said, raising a hand to her head. She looked up. "What just...?" The Sentinels were gone. Immediately she scanned around for signs of the X-Men, but she could see none. The helicopters were gone as well, she noticed. But nothing appeared out of place aside from that. No explosions. No bodies on the floor. No chunks torn out of the sidewalks.
Anya turned to the girl. "They're gone! Did you do something? Zap them to some new dimension? Evaporate them? That's incredible!"
The girl was shaking her head and staring up at Anya with wide eyes. "I didn't do anything. You did. You...you opened a void with your hands. Oh my god. You erased them."
Anya didn't quite believe what she had heard. "That can't be. I don't have powers. Maybe there's another mutant nearby..."
"No!" The girl shouted. "No I saw you. You threw this darkness at the robots. You were glowing!"
"But...I don't...I..."
"Look at your hands!"
Anya looked down and noticed that they're was an aura of violet light around them. They appeared as if under a blacklight. Anya had to struggle not to laugh at the sight of them. "Well...well how about that," she whispered her voice trembling. "I'm a mutant."
oops, i did more of the au magda and her verse because i fucking can and i had the idea and this needs to happen.
---
Magda is tired, so tired but so elated.
Twins, she has twins.
Constellations (Max/Magda & Anya Drabble)
Pasha tried to hurt me with headcanons. This means war:
"Oh look, I do believe that's Capricorn. Can't you see the horns?" Magda traced illustrations through the sky with her fingers.
"I suppose," Max replied.
The grassy hillside just beyond their small town was perfect for viewing the night sky. Magda loved it up here, although Max didn't particularly go in for the mumbo jumbo of astrology.
"Stubborn things, Capricorns. Wouldn't see something in front of their own face if they didn't want to," Magda nudged her husband.
"They all look like stars to me."
Magda smiled. "Even simple, little stars have their own meanings, love. Look up there. See that lone bright star. That's the North Star. It's said one can always find their way home by it."
Max tried to focus in on the bright star, but his vision was momentarily blocked by a cheeky, dirt-covered faced. "Papa, Mama! I found fireflies!"
Max rolled over and up, snaring the little girl up in a hug. She wriggled and laughed against him. "Here she is," he said, mussing up her hair. "Magda, I do believe I've found the brightest star out tonight."
"So you have," Magda laughed, rising to her feet. "Come on then, my little North Star. Lead the way."
OKAY SO, i did more of the au magda and 616 erik meeting because of a portal, set directly after these two drabbles.
--
“Magda,” Erik's voice cracks on her name but he doesn't care. She's standing in front of him, with her hand outstretched. He tentatively reaches for her hand and threads their fingers together. She's real, her hand is a solid, warm, present weight in his hand. It feels like someone has wrapped a vice grip around his heart, yet this is the happiest he's been in years.
A sob finally breaks out of Magda's throat, she can't help it. She never thought she would hear his voice again, it's the sweetest sound she's ever heard. She pulls him closer, closer, closer, there's no such thing as close enough right now.
