New video!! This was taken yesterday at the woodshop. As you can see it was successful. During our final runs in class today, it worked perfectly too! The other rube goldber machines in our class were much more extravagant and nice looking, but we were one of the most consistent in the class. What a rush!!

Final edits! 

So remember that Koopa Shell? I know you’ve seen the video but I didn’t properly explain it in text. I mean it’s super self explanatory once you see it but whatever! Anyways, it’ll roll down after being pushed by that empty cup and hit this Pokegolf ball. Then the Pokegolf ball will fall down and hit the switch on our lamp, turning it on! 

Fascinating, isn’t it?

VIDEO TIME!!! 

RJ and Reynato sent in some videos of the machine working and not working. This is a compilation of their troubleshooting. There’s two or so clips of it actually working! Isn’t that exciting?

Also, RJ, you need to work on that potty mouth. >:(

Here it is! Our penultimate step!

So that second cup, the blue one, will be lifted up, right? Since it’s just under the lip of this slope, the cup will lift up and tip over on the slope, knocking a Red Koopa Shell (Thanks McDonalds!!) down the slope. There’s a couple Pokemon cards there to help guide it. I sure hope none of the cards we used were worth anything...

I’m kidding! So here’s the low-down on the pulley and fidget spinner:

Remember how I said a ball would fall onto the bounce-pad and into the FUNnel? That ball will fall down and hit the fidget spinner, knocking a Bakugan (this one’s black! I think it’s a Darkus attribute.) down into the cup. 

The cup is held up by the pulley, and the two cups are equal in weight, so they stay in their places. But when the Bakugan drops into the first cup, it brings the second cup upward. You’ll see why in a quick second, RJ and Reynato said they’re close to finishing the final step.
