My favorite part of the Devo documentary was the numerous clips of them in the 80s doing interviews with old farts that completely didn't understand what they were doing and didn't care to and Jerry and Mark are just looking at them like

Devo documentary (2024)
There is currently a festival (l'étrange festival) near where I live, and I decided to see a couple movies. It's à festival about "weird" and/or experimental movies. Since I really liked Devo, I went to see this documentary.
It was awesome ! It tells the story of the band, how it was formed, what are their influences and all... I really enjoyed it !
At the beginning, before the movie started, a man briefly presented the band, and at some point he asked "if I say "are we not men ?" you answer ?" and all the room answered "we are Devo". It was awesome.
It's a documentary so there's not too much to say. Now I just gotta watch Human Highway and their music videos. Also, I loved the Dove bit. That was funny.
