Elijah was caught off guard by his husband’s sudden question. He should’ve expected questioning coming home with a black eye that wasn’t there when he left that morning, but it was still a new thing that he had someone to come home too. “--I got into a fight.” He stated simply, giving Devon a smile. “It’s fine, don’t worry.” He reassured him.
