Hi! May I ask abt Devonne and Raiden's relationship?

their relationship is pretty simple: two individuals with explosive tempers keep almost pushing the other over the edge. but never quite enough to get the sweet release of letting your anger fly. its a minefield with those two.

i can lowkey see the parody rn. gertrude having a segment about her theory about odd stuff happening around lunium, a commercial break of veronziska trying to sell her stuff, danger having his own segment of simply blowing up random things, devonne and annette having their segment about love advice (but it turns rather chaotic half-way through), sombra doing survival tips, and anything else you can think of

and oh? do tell about the parallels. i'm interesting to hear

(also it would be funny/cool/fun/which ever fits if you made small stories of the lunium folks. i think it would be interesting to see the shenanigans these folks get up to. i blame my pokemon interest on my fixation on the lunium folks)

imagining devonne and annette together is so funny to me! on one hand theyre a match made in heaven (not romantically of course), annette tells you how to get into a relationship and devonne tells you how to stay in it or break it off. however the two would have the worst infighting known to man within fifteen minutes of meeting each other. the shipping discourse would be intense. I can only imagine how snom and robin feel after introducing them to each other thinking that because of their talents they'd be such good friends! only to hear both of them at their angriest because they cant decide between slow burn and love at first sight.

I'm choosing to stay silent about the connections.... for now at least. maybe there's one character who embodies the connection better than anyone else.

also thank you! im not quite sure how id like to tell these stories yet...... but ill think about it! maybe i can show connections with one off drawings, it'll be nice to practice backgrounds and stuff.

i am somehow both annette and devonne at the exact same time. they are now my skrunglys. love themed characters always seem to be right up my ally

also other (odd) question. what would annette and devonne see in a partner? i say this bc it would be real funny if their idea for an ideal partner is very different from their main ship candidates (rocky, viktor, and cogsworth for annette. wesley for devonne)

Annette doesnt really know her own type. i do (its people who never shut up) but she doesnt really know what her type is, everytime she tries to dissect it she overthinks and quits. even then she doesn't really mind.

devonne is in a similar boat, but also its just something they dont really think about. he knows they dont like women in that way but thats about it. devonne just rolls with whatever comes at em.

I'm curious on how Hollis befriended Devonne and Wesley

it just kinda happened for him and devonne. he thinks devonne is very nice and vice versa, he doesn't really see devonne at his worst though.

Wesley is the kind of guy Hollis wishes he was: confident and cool. However Wesley is also a loser. He does like the attention he gets from Hollis though

Any facts abt Devonne?

the fellow

- despite being french they have a really strong non-french accent. like. Lil' gideon from gravity falls kinda strong.

- parents are a gorebyss and huntail respectively. he inherits a lot of their personality traits for better or for worse.

- he's pretty good at carnival games! stuff like hitting bullseyes with water guns and all that. it just comes naturally to them.

- they're fond of swimming, but prefer to do so alone.

- other than that however, devonne must do EVERYTHING with SOMEBODY or else nothing gets done.

Any facts abt Wesley and Devonne?

- I think they'd find arcade trips fun, but only for DDR. Wesley is amazingly good at DDR and Devonne just likes to watch.

- Both of them loathe their lives away from Lunium, so whenever one has to go away for a bit expect the other to hang out with them every day until then.

- And then when they get back expect a lot of hugs. Wesley will be more like "ARE YOU ALIVE. DO YOU YOU STILL HOLD WHIMSY."

- i dont think they'd be a couple immediately but devonne acts like they are. Wesley needs time to let it simmer.

- I also think they'd shittalk teen romance shows. "That's NOT how normal people interact" and its two extremely abnormal people.
