Dewdrop Inn: Opening on the First Astral Moon!
Looking for a getaway not so far away this Heavensturn?
We at the Dewdrop Inn are having our grand opening at the start of this coming year. Innkeepers Eidelrael and Iyrnbryda Haerkoenwyn, a pair of sisters from a small isle in the Bloodbrine Sea, have come to Eorzea and brought their family hospitality business with them.
Guests are welcome to take in the spacious lobby, grab a bite in the tavern downstairs, relax in our mineral baths, or stroll in our gardens. The innkeepers will make you feel right at home!
Dewdrop Inn (DD-RP) is also looking for friends and free company members to help bring this place to life! We’re oriented towards slice-of-life roleplay and a positive atmosphere, and would make an excellent home for an adventurer that might want someplace other than the usual levedesks to call their own, or characters that love to interact that might be great fellow hosts!

Qurcaqi Himaa - 2019
General Information:
Full Name: Qurcaqi of the HImaa (Westernized). Himaa un Qurcaqi (Traditional).
Race: Auri - Xaela
Age: Twenty three
Nickname/Alias: Commonly referred to as Caqi by those who grow close to her. Amongst the Od-Aduu she was also referred to as ‘The Sharp Sister’.
Biography:
Family: Qurcaqi’s remaining family members are her mother, Bolormaa of the Kha, and her twin sister Dayuuqi of the Kha (Played by @me-and-yuuqi). She and her sister had arrived in Eorzea over five cycles prior to now having been sent to Eorzea at their mother’s behest. Upon the establishment of better open trade routes to Othard the twins returned to the step, their home clan, the Od-Aduu, abandoned by the rest of the Himaa and nearly wiped out by a feud.
Thanks to the heroic actions and sacrifices of the twins their mother was saved and has returned to her birth clan where they are always welcome. She has remained aloof with the Kha, though she often visits to spend time with her mother, sister, and Yuuqi’s young daughter Qazana.
Birthplace: She and her twin sister were born in the Od-Aduu’s southern camp during the springtime.
Upbringing: Qurcaqi was raised in the same manner as nearly all steppe peoples. A life of hunting, herding, raiding, and travel that forged her into a capable and self sufficient woman. Though one with a view that can often be seen as alien among Eorzeans.
Appearance:
Style: Qurcaqi’s casual style has shifted notably upon rooting herself in Eorzea once again. Though she still adores clothing that shows off her powerful physique, she has begun to mix in more feminine choices like skirts, chokers, and stockings. She often favors cool colours mixed with small splashes of gem tones.
The Xaela’s equipment for combat reflects her pride in her people, her armor often bearing fur, scales, and feathers dyed fiery shades to contrast against the more subtle shades of the rest of her armor. Capable of a warrior as she is, deliberate effort is made to make it clear she holds no tribal ties to any but the memory of the Od-Aduu.
Scent: While not worn for it’s scent, she starts every morning not in the field brushing her scales with a soft bristle brush daubed with clove scented oil. The act is more to make sure her scales stay healthy and do not dry out, though she is fond of having the scent cling to her as well.
Build: Though both Dayuuqi and Qurcaqi are quite impressively built amongst your average Auri women, Caqi stands out between the two. Her figure is lean, sinewy, and covered in scars that attest to her many cycles of conflict.
Notable Marks: Two notable things stand out about Qurcaqi above all else. One being her hetereochromia a trait she shares with her sister, though her eyes are set in the opposite, her right being emerald green and left being a deep gold.
Personality:
Major Traits: Loyal, Cynical, Cautious, Determined
Sociability: Pride shines brightly from the Xaela upon her first meeting, her words often spoken through a sly smile or playful grin. Though she is often reticent towards non-Xaela, Qurcaqi’s confidence has been restored to the point that she will often make the first move in speaking to someone. Often starting with a pithy observation or a bit of teasing.
She adores sharing stories of her people, her youth, and her adventures to anyone who will listen. Those that come to befriend her will find she’s loyal, thoughtful, and loves to bring gifts from her homeland.
Habits: Qurcaqi is proactive and energetic, often seeming like she’s not the type to settle for long.
She starts her suns early, completes her morning ritual of tending her scales and washing herself, and then takes to her tasks with a will. It’s not uncommon for her work to take her all over the Steppe and Othard one sun, then off to Eorzea to deliver exotic goods the next.
Though it’s certain her active lifestyle will slow as she re-establishes roots and grows older, for now she is content with her downtime being spent with her newly made friends, family, and partner.
Love and Sex
Orientation: Bisexual (even interest in both masculine and feminine)
Lovers: She has been in a serious relationship with Iyrnbryda Haerkoenwyn for a good number of moons now. She’s unwilling to add more to that number unless both Iyrn and herself are accepting.
Relationship Status: Taken, not actively looking for additional partners.
Marital Interest: Though Caqi still suffers doubts after the death of her first wife, she has begun to view Iyrn as a proper candidate for marriage. She drops hints, often times after sex or in front of the Roegadyn’s family. Qurcaqi is only subtle when she wants to be, and this isn’t one of those moments.
Turn-Ons: Long hair, strength (physical, magical, or of spirit), honesty, and willingness to let her lead. Enjoys pursuit and pursuing, compliments to her figure, her scales, and skills in battle. Love of animals, especially horses.
Turn Offs: Dishonest and dishonorable conduct, being treated like a pet or lesser person. Dark haired Miqo’te men.

Full Name: Eidenrael Haerkoenwyn (Oathdoe daughter of Grand King)
Race: Roegadyn - Sea Wolf
Age: Thirty
Nickname/Alias: Wolk-head (By her sister). , Koenthota (Title from home), Queen (By Asha - especially when trying to romance her)
Signature: A large, bold E. H.
Biography:
Family: The overwhelming majority of Eidenrael’s family lives on Trachisil, a moderately sized isle on the Bloodbrine. Though most are quite distantly related, those of her family tree range from common folk up to her father, Haerkoen - the ‘King’ of the isle. In truth his authority is closer to that of a chieftain, though long have those that sat inn Trachisil’s great hall given themselves the title. For direct family she is the third of four children the first of which is her eldest sister Fyrwyb. A woman who has earned her name through great deeds only for her hubris to drive her to attempt to kill both her sisters and brother in a bid to secure her future on the throne of Syvinberk. Next would be her bother Askaren, a thinker and schemer unlike his firebrand twin, Fyrwyb. He and Eiden were as thick as thieves ‘till he began to focus his time on matters on the isle.
Last, but most certainly not least in Eidenrael’s eyes is her young sister Iyrnbryda who she has come to the mainland. Or perhaps ‘tagged along’ with her if you asked when they first arrived. Now Iyrn is the one she trusts most among her family and is one of her favorite targets to dote upon, especially since it makes Iyrn flush like mad.
Birthplace: In a shocking twist that will shake the very bedrock ‘pon which Eorzea lays she was born.. on Trachisil.
Upbringing: While her family holds a comparatively lofty position on her home isle, Eiden’s earlier years were quite similar to many other Roegadyn. She learned to fight, to fish, and to hunt alongside many others - though she was privileged enough to also learn her numbers and letters. She even was taught the common tongue, though more out of need to understand her future tutors than aught else.
Appearance:
Style: If there was ever a woman that can be wooed by furs, it would be Eidenrael. Having grown in cool climes and even hunted her fair share of future coat-liners herself, she enjoys it both practically and aesthetically.
Beyond that her clothing often veers towards the bold, red being a frequently worn colour though she doesn’t turn her nose up over something as simple as that. She quite enjoys foreign styles, and while she won’t wholly eschew practicality she equally weighs it against the look of a garment.
Scent: On her 14th nameday Eiden was given a gift from the exotic land of Thavnair, Rosewater. Since then she’s always been fond of the flower’s scent. Though if you catch her on a baking day she’s far more likely to smell like browned butter.
Build: Eiden is a she-wolf in her prime and she is most certainly built like one. Her body is covered in lean muscle, her icy white skin carrying its share of scars and marks from life on the isles. While she cannot boast she is among the tallest, she is certainly no slouch when it comes to height.
Notable Marks: A deep scar runs over Eiden’s left eye, which is a pale shade of lavender. It seems to shimmer when directly exposed to light like mother of pearl. This change is a ‘trophy’ from the bloody civil strife that overtook her isle only a few moons prior to her wedding.
Personality:
Major Traits: Kind, Focused, Playful, and Ambitious.
Sociability: Seeing as Eiden owns an inn, it’s a good thing she’s a warm and welcoming person. She’ll gladly chat with nigh on anyone, and while she may not always find their words interesting she’s wise enough to keep that off her face. It takes a foul mouth and ill intentions to rouse her ire, though when it has been stoked she’ll take swift and violent action. She’s already destroyed two topiaries due to smart-mouthed customers.
Habits: One of her greatest habits is to wake up at the crack of dawn to start her day with a cup of tea and whatever leftovers happen to remain from the last sun’s work. She then makes a list of work that needs to be done, both for herself and Iyrnbryda (To her sister’s chagrin). Then, she opens the doors and takes what life brings to her.
Love and Sex
Orientation: Heterosexual, is on the Kinsey Scale a 1. (Why yes she did end up married to a woman who’d’ve thought?)
Lovers: Asha Koenabryda (Played by @rasha-tahl !)
Relationship Status: Married
Marital Interest: You could say it’s something she is very interested in maintaining these days. She and Asha have been married since the 10th day of the 6th Astral Moon.
Turn-Ons: Attracted to reliability, honesty, and a cool head more than aught else. Scrappy, and sharp Miqo’te women with pale pink hair especially.
Turn Offs: Laziness, Over Impulsiveness, Those that dislike sweets, Lalafell men without facial hair. (They just wear it so well..) Lalafell who don’t like her doting on them heavily. (Note: On Balmung Server.)
