We are an FC・CWLS・RP Group focused on FFXVI and its characters. Our objective is simply to have fun doing FFXIV content while in character. Of course, it doesn't mean using the FFXIV world to set roleplay scenes is not in question. You can either use Etheirys as if it was Valisthea or RP as a crossover. Or neither. We only want to have fun while roleplaying our favorite FFXVI characters.
Therefore, there is no restriction on how you want to roleplay in our group.
We also don't have restrictions for who is interested in joining and only recommend having finished the game because of spoilers.

The Nightsteel Coalition [Balmung LS] is recruiting!
Engineers, machinists, and technology aficionados rejoice! The Nightsteel Coalition looks to expand it’s reach across Hydaelyn!
Who are we? The Nightsteel Coalition is a union of engineers and Magitek savvy peoples who seek advancement for life on Hydaelyn by expanding the access to state of the art technology, repositories of knowledge and education, as well as offer basic non-profit services to the general public.
The Nightsteel Coalition is an IC Linkshell and Discord community led by Miyuki Mazaki, with it’s home on the Balmung server of the Crystal Datacenter. The Linkshell is an IC private community, while the Discord remains open and accessible to the public of the FFXIV Roleplaying community. Guests are welcome! While our focus demographic is geared toward those interested in engineer and Magitek roleplay, we also seek to create an inclusive environment for the bulk of like-minded roleplayers!
A few preliminary ground rules before clicking the invite link:
1. Please be respectful! This is a safe space, which means this is an LGBT+ friendly, racism and sexism free community. Any form of bigotry will not be tolerated. This will be upheld in and out of game.
2. Please use discretion! While we intend to remain a non-restrictive community, if you are asked to drop a topic, use a spoiler tag, or change the theme of an ongoing RP, or anything of the like, you are expected to conduct yourself appropriately for the well being of everyone present, IC or OOC.
3. We intend to remain mostly lore-compliant. Though we are not opposed to creative liberty, we would like to stay as true to the FFXIV lore as possible. You won’t be chastised for not being familiar with all of the lore, but blatant disregard will be addressed.

A position in the Yellow Serpents, is perfect for those who want to do their part, but do not want to have the Adders be their sole employment! While sole employment positions are available, the majority of the Yellow Serpents operate on a reserve schedule!
What does this mean? Simply put, you will be provided a linkshell frequency for any calls for musters, or expeditions that are going out! You are then free to join and participate at what works for you!

From Dusk Till Dawn is an Out of Character linkshell specified for Au Ra based characters only. This is to be a networking tool for both the Xaela and Raen roleplayers of the Balmung server in order to stay in connection with one another and gain beneficial event planning and social interaction. Hosts/hostesses are one part greeter, two parts waitstaff, with a teaspoon of doting parent, shaken and served. They welcome and seat guests, take and deliver orders, and make sure everyone feels at home.
Why spend your RP time with us?
We believe that the best way for the server to have great events is for as many people to pitch in as possible - that is, we need to make events for others to attend instead of just attending someone else's all the time. We know, it seems like work, and it is, a little bit. But it's rewarding to help others make RP connections, and we often end up with RP connections ourselves.
If you've ever wanted to help the server be great but didn't know where to start, we invite you to try starting with us. We're a laid-back RP group that tries to be welcoming to all roleplayers, regardless of experience or skill level. That goes for both our guests and our staff.
Also, puns. Have you seen our ads? If you're not ad-dicted to them yet, you will be soon.
OOC Requirements:
Availability - Hosts must be generally be available from 3:45pm-6:00pm Eastern (convert to your time zone here) on Sundays, on Balmung.
Character - Must be reasonable enough within FF lore. That is, no "joke" or "ERP-only" characters, no NPC look-alikes, and no super obvious references to non-FF media. We're fairly flexible outside of this. We're not the lore or fun police, we just want to keep the environment welcoming and immersive for everyone.
Joining - Joining us on our LS and Discord is required, but you do not need to join the DD-RP free company. Though if you are in the market for a FC, we would love to have you.

So, I’m searching to make some contacts for RP, and right now my work schedule has me rather European friendly as far as times I’m able to play.
So, just going to get a feeler out there for those who work graveyard shifts in N.America, European players, and whomever else are active in the “slow” times of Balmung who are also looking for RP contacts.
I’ve started a horribly punny Linkshell with the intentions of creating a social network for others in the same boat as me, just looking for contacts and etc. (You’re Up, Graves. It’s awful, I know. Europeans, Graveyards. Nathaniel Graves. Yeah, it’s terrible.)
