Dewey's Reverse Readathon: The Eleventh Hour

So it's Hour 11 and I'm 250 pages into I'll give you the sun! I like the story style. I didn't at first but I kept reading and allowed myself to be submerged in the art that's woven through the words.

Hope to finish either this or Spinning Silver or both! by the end of the readathon (maybe one of those tonight?)

Was planning to stay up but I feel like I'll crash post midnight.

Dewey’s 24 Hour Reverse Readathon 2018 :

Here’s my #tbr for #deweysreadathon this weekend! The 24hour readathon starts at 10 a.m. AEST on Saturday 28th July and goes on till 10 a.m. Sunday. I’m hoping to read all of the 24 hours!

So excited to be participating (again) in Dewey’s!

Dewey's Reverse Readathon: The Last Leg

This is it. 2 hours to the end of the readathon. I have woken up from my deep slumber, made myself some coffee and I'm now ready to tackle the last 60 pages of Spinning Silver!

If I finish this, I would have read 2.5 books over the past 24 hours! Crazy and just wonderful!

I wanted to tell myself that after this weekend, I'd take it slow with my reading (since I have uni and I'm almost nearing the end of of my Goodreads challenge) but I think this readathon just going to keep me reading even more!

Dewey's Reverse Readathon: Start of Hour 15

It's midnight where I'm at so I'm heading to bed.

But not bad at all! I like the reverse Readathon. I got to read for all of the first 14 hours and I finished 2 whole books. Tomorrow morning, 3 hrs before the readathon finishes I'll be up, reading the last 60 pages of Spinning Silver, concluding this Readathon.

Dewey's Reverse Readathon: End of Hour 13

It's been 13 hours! I've been up for 13 hours straight!(except for that one 15 min nap)

I've finished I'll Give You The Sun and have now picked up Spinning Silver to finish it

Having some green tea and have lit my Fig and Papaya scented candle for some ambience!

2. How many books have you read so far?

One!

3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?

The one I'm currently reading and also Spinning Silver (still around 150 pages to go in that)

4. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?

Mostly meal times - I just got over with them as quickly as possible and got back to reading! Treated them as breaks so I could get back to reading with more enthusiasm

5. What surprises you most about the Reverse Readathon so far?

That it's so chill! I was just telling someone how much I love reading - and reading like this on a weekend, with almost no interruptions is the best! I just want to cuddle with them books now

Dewey's Reverse Readathon: Halfway through Hour 8

I'm a 100 pages into I'll give you the sun! ⛅

It's nothing like I expected and so it's got me mesmerized.

Dewey's Reverse Readathon: Hour 6 ending

I've managed to read a 100 pages in the past 2 hours, of Spinning Silver and so I'm through 327 pages of the book.

I'm going to take a small break and get some snacks (maybe hot chocolate?) and pick up I'll Give You The Sun for a change in pace. Plus it'll be fun to finish Spinning Silver in the latter half of the readathon - when it's dark and cold, perfect atmosphere for the book.
