Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon TBR

the readathon is back and it's this weekend! it starts 5:30 pm saturday to 5:30 pm sunday in my timezone and i'm ready to read! my strategy is to choose the shortest books i have so here are my tentative reads:

Our next readathon, the 2024 Dewey's Reverse Rceadathon, will be July 26-27, starting at 8pm Eastern Time on Friday, July 26th.

Today is Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon! It’s a special one for me. Today is my 10-year anniversary with Dewey’s. My first readathon was October 2010. I stayed awake until 2am reading Reliquary, and I’ve associated late nights with Martha Wells books ever since. I’ve chosen suspenseful and magical books for this October readathon. I probably will not read all 5 books, but I like to have options. Hickory Dickory Dock by Agatha Christie The Sun Down Motel by Simone St. James The Vine Witch by Luanne G. Smith The Dreamers by Karen Walker Thompson Another Man's Moccasins by Craig Johnson

My love of reading was sparked by my mother reading to me and children’s programming on PBS. For each page I read today, I’ll make a donation of 5 cents to the Sesame Workshop.

Dewey's Reverse Readathon: The Eleventh Hour

So it's Hour 11 and I'm 250 pages into I'll give you the sun! I like the story style. I didn't at first but I kept reading and allowed myself to be submerged in the art that's woven through the words.

Hope to finish either this or Spinning Silver or both! by the end of the readathon (maybe one of those tonight?)

Was planning to stay up but I feel like I'll crash post midnight.
