okay, so, since I already sent out asks for Pokemon with regional variants (+megas, which I somehow forgot about), how should I handle them?

Do them at the end of the original Pokémon’s generation (ex. Vulpix-A in Kanto)

Do them… sometime in the game they were introduced in. (ex.Vulpix-A in Alola)

I have another idea!

perhaps that’s because it’s one of the first Pokémon classified? some kid might’ve went “Oh, it has a shell, and it’s a water type. Must be a shellfish!” and moved on? take this with several grains of salt, i do not know who made dex entries and classifications or how they were made ^^
