yea your posts got me thinkin. i think i get what you mean. set my gender to agender on facebook and tinder and then quietly get buffeted by the constant streams of she, her, smart lady, lovely girl, woman this and that. i’m sure a lot of them would probably try if i went HEY i’m not a lady, my pronouns are they/them. but they’d do it with that waka flocka uhhh...ok expression. i’m the sus-sein macswenny of gender. and i’d have to keep reminding them every day bc no-one would take it seriously enough to put the effort it. and then i’d become “that person”. or they’d just gloss over it. its not even that big a deal, its just like getting called the wrong name every single day of your life by everyone you know. but it sometimes feels a little bit chinese-water-torture-y.

it’s less about the character himself than it is my personal bias and ~relationship with bioware as a whole and most of it’s just like. Exhaustion

yea! but depending on how long it takes + how finicky EA gets Will They See Development Through to the End? esp with a few core bioware employees dropping out.

dude there’s a new mod called Survival Plus that makes ark supposedly more realistic??  in a nutshell it’s just dying to things more easily and harder engrams forcing you to approach the game differently :’( but, like, the only way to tame a dino is to raise it from an egg

i think that’s partially it but i’ve had the same issue with Certain Other Games even when playing.. usually info-heavy rpgs like PoE. I think the Structure and the way information is delivered is just not conducive to my specific. brain
