This is Dezsi. He fucking loves art but what he really love is to disturb us. We love him :).

Notes for an Epilogue (2011 – ongoing), by a Hungarian photographer Tamas Dezso, is a visual story of rural and post-industrial Romania suspended in time. Dezso wants us to see how the spiritual tradition, centuries-old habits, and monstrous industrial architecture are becoming part of a bygone era, thus clearing space for the new. The images are dreamlike, eerie, and unreal thanks to the (almost) monochromatic style, painterly character, and content out of a fairy tale. Titles, however, are very time- and geo-specific, as if Dezso wanted to prove that these people and places do exist (or have once existed) in real space and time. Even though this series tends more toward fine art and magic realism than document, I couldn't but include it as it visualizes one of the most common depictions of Romania.
