Felix was known to not be a fan of anything scary, in fact his members easily would scare him just by sneaking up behind him. and to be very fair the older’s story seemed convincing to him to fall for it. 

So of course Felix never really had pride to begin with, he wasn’t going to sleep and risk having whatever ghouls haunt him. His roommates at his dorm loved horror movies so he was always suffering, Felix was scared of the dark even. He could be dramatic at times, but that’s just his personality.

“Well, I can’t sleep anyways after how realistic your story was. Of course you’ll sleep like a baby, you monster. Besides my anxiety and fear will keep me up just fine.”

Felix really wanted to buy a cake for Heechul and congratulate him in person, but he assumed the other was with his members. And he also wanted to make sure the elder felt included and not alone, he knew that feeling to well. Felix just wanted to not only congratulate his friend but also remind his friend that he was still a big part of super junior despite not being physically in performances.
