I think I saw someone calling the ends of the bread kant earlier in this discussion. And I gotta say, that is very valid of them. - a Swede, who in swedish calls the ends of the bread kant, brödkant if it's ever unclear that we're actually talking about bread.

Okay but with article, would it be ett kant/kantet or en kant/kanten, because if it's kanten, I might just move to a more reasonable country.
