Nació "El Alemán" (1897)

Equipo del Deutscher Fussball Klub que el 28.06.1903 perdió 1-0 frente al Albion.

Un día como hoy pero de hace 128 años, el 23 de mayo de 1897, era fundado el desaparecido Deutscher Fussball Klub Montevideo, club de fútbol de la colectividad alemana afincada en Uruguay.

El club fue fundador de la The Uruguay Association Football League (UAFL) y compitió hasta 1909 tras cambiar su nombre por el de Teutonia primero y luego por el de Montevideo.

Bajo las tres denominaciones disputó 101 partidos, divididos en 28 victorias, 13 empates y 60 derrotas, con 114 goles a favor y 236 recibidos.
