FAMILIARITY is becoming more of a frequent thing with Iseul as soon as path taken from diverging from his roots to O-Jeom’s network. Not that he’ll never look back far enough to ensure he can look forward with enough comforting relief in his chest, but he won’t deny the lightness that NORMALCY brings that reminded Iseul of Mom’s stories, of her world in a family ( @jaesungkg ) unknown to him, of small humane things that give her happiness.
Mom has always voiced out she wanted to keep every stray dog they meet and wondered how Iseul had been more fond of cats that keep jumping everywhere on his person wherever they go. At least, they agreed on liking sweets together; to that, Iseul still dedicates a portion of his time once a day to sustain his sweet tooth. So to find a CAT CAFE in the heart of Seoul’s busy streets and lively crowds, as Iseul sidesteps them and let OPHELIA handle the front lines that he doesn’t really want to involve himself in, is one of life’s blessing. Tough luck, perhaps.
Iseul usually pays beforehand for a schedule so the staff won’t be alarmed if he manages to own his usual corner to play with the felines while enjoying his milk tea, and today will never be an exception; for the boy rarely misses his appointments and calls prior to moving anything before just POPPING out of nowhere. And he does just POP in literally, never bothering to SOLIDIFY himself as he unconsciously adapts to move swiftly within the VEIL.
˚❛ A heart for you, and one for you ! ❜˚ Excited soft murmurs heard from the obscured corner of one of the cat booths where scratching posts and mini cat cushions are, as the Ghost’s happiness affected his VISIBILITY so to let the cats be familiarised with him again. Cats can sense and see Ghosts but since Iseul is only half - blooded, his need to hide drop in favour of his desire in interacting with the cute felines, squishing their paws one after another once he had given LOVE HEARTS to each and every one of them. It’s good practice, Theodora did say he should work on being more expressive.
Time pass even slower with Iseul enjoying himself, actually forgetting the other thing he came in for: his BOBA TEA.
