You're wrong Bob, you're full of the desire of resistance. Resisting yourself; your being, your essence, your light. In resistance, there is only 'I'. Where there is 'I' there is no You. So no, you can't destroy your organs, your language, your senses. No. This is not what being asked of you. Let the parasites move in the motion of your energy whilst you live in acceptance. Allow morphine to drug you and aim to mould you but fail as you take support in Naam. Let the fire close enough to burn you, just don't do anything to draw it to yourself. You already have missing pigmentation on your skin, what more bleach could you beg for and why? The senses are guarding your body from reign, but connect to the power in your heart, in case the senses fail you with their naivety. So what will remain without resistance?

Gori problems

I went into a local 7-11 convenience store ajj da sham nu. The (very good looking ;-)) Sardar who works there was very jovial in saying good morning across the store, and when I went to pay for my coffee I said "ਸਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ" to him. He bent a bit closer and said "what did you say?" Kind of incredulous-like. So I repeated, and got a big smile. When we were done the transaction I said "shukriya". Now it seems every time I use one word I'm told a different one is better. My Pakistani friend who speaks punjabi tells me dhanvaad is more Hindi and shukriya is proper for Punjabi. This Sardar told me shukriya was Hindi and dhanvaad was more appropriate. Other people have told me pretty much shukriya and meharbani are borrowed from Urdu but appropriate and dhanvaad comes from Hindi. In the end...hey I'm trying. I'm saying thank you. My accent is such that I don't say dhanvaad particularly well yet (and if I can hear that, that explains why people don't always understand if I say it!)...give the poor gori a break! ;-) lol (Always happy to learn but wishing it wasn't so mixed messages I get! ;-))

Getting gas

I get my gas down in the USA.  Living in Canada near the border, it's financially worthwhile to me.  So most recently I've been visiting this one gas station and the lovely looking lady who works there has a name tag that is one of those more ubiquitously generic names that could have been Sikh, or Hindu, or...I wasn't sure.  But I took the plunge and wished her "sat sri akal".  She chuckled.  And she said "namaste" back to me, and said she was Fijian Hindi speaking, but obviously appreciated my effort.  She said "you must have a lot of Punjabi speaking friends to know that".  And then...so...that was a few weeks ago.  Each time, I NOW wish her "namaste" instead.  I've been there a few times and she knows my face and today...I didn't even end up speaking to her ahead of when she thanked me for some reason, and SHE said "dhanvaad" (I think it's pronounced a bit more like "dhanney-vaad" when she says it?) to me, which means she knows my face by now.  I was tickled.  :-)
