Inayat was done with all the last rites of Rehman Dakait and left without letting anyone notice her departure but how could that happen when Hamza was there around her. He noticed everything, the change of expression on her face and the body language felt practiced.
This time he couldn't run after her, he had alot to do and his mission has just took the right turn. He had a gut feeling that he won't be able to meet her ever again. hamza kept telling himself everything will be alright and as long as he is alive, he'll make it possible.
The next 12 days went according to the plan and Inayat was beyond confidently focused. Inayat shipped the said metals to Firdos Faruqui a week after coming back from lyari. This time he was the one to offer her a deal and Inayat knew this would happen so he accepted it.
Inayat got to know that Firdos has a unregistered property in Multan and all the arms and ammunition are manufactured there. The weapons manufactured there are mostly sent to Pakistan army or sometimes ISI's training centre. Firdos on the other hand passed the information to the head of ISI Major Iqbal about his deals with Iftikhar kashmiri's daughter Inayat.
As much as amused Iqbal was feeling that a young women like her being enough inteligent to handle such big infrastructure after her father is gone but also the curiosity of knowing why was she dealing with people like them.
Both Iqbal and firdos decided to hold a meeting in Multan to discuss few topics about their deal and the first topic being that the guns manufactured will be sent to ISI's training centre.
Inayat was alarmed and cautious. At morning she woke up as if she was waiting for this day. She clearly knew what she was doing would only lead to one consequence that she'll never be able to meet Hamza, their story would end.
Inayat understood it more than anyone that there was a lot more he needed to achieve for his mission, things that were between them – their little relationship. Inayat understood the real weight of responsibilities and knew it was time for her to step back.

Inayat got dressed in a pathani suit, deep royal blue with a black scarf around her neck and then picked up her bag and called one number telling the man to come on the sent location by a specific time and wait by the emergency exit. The man on the other hand replied with a small “ok” and ended the call.
Inayat took a last look around the house taking a deep breath and walked out.
Inayat adjusted the black scarf around her neck as they stepped into the factory. The air smelled of metal and oil -sharp, suffocating. Machines hummed in the background, steady and indifferent.
Firdos Farooqi walked ahead, his hands clasped behind his back, pride evident in every step.
he said while walking beside inayat while glancing at the factory in front of them.
Inayat let her eyes scan the space-not too curious, not too careless.
“Yeh… kaafi achhi tarah se organize kiya gaya hai.”
“Aapne yeh sab bilkul shuru se khud banaya hai?”
“Bas itna samajh lo ke maine woh mauka dekha jise lene se doosre darr gaye.”
Major Iqbal, walking beside her, watched her more than the factory.
he said, his voice calm but probing,
“aisi nahi lagti jo aasaani se darr jaaye.”
Inayat met his gaze, steady.
“Darr kaafi kaam ka hota hai. Yeh batata hai ke kya sach mein zaroori hai.”
A pause. The machines clanked in the distance.
Iqbal tilted his head slightly.
“Aur tumhare liye kya zaroori hai?”
There it was-the question beneath all questions.
Inayat took a breath, just enough to seem human, not enough to seem unsure.
“Mera mulk. Mera imaan. Aur wahan farq laane ka mauka jahan sach mein zarurat ho.”
Firdos let out a quiet chuckle.
She turned to him, unfazed.
“Bade kaarwaai ke liye badi baatein zaroori hoti hain, hai na?”
Iqbal’s lips curved-almost a smile, but not quite.
“Tum samajh rahi ho na tum kis baat par haan kar rahi ho,"
he said and looked at her fully
“Yeh sirf numayishi nahi hai. Yeh poori tarah munazzam hai. Kai nishane. Zyada se zyada asar.”
Inayat nodded slowly, as if absorbing the weight of it. Inside, her pulse hammered-but her face didn’t betray it.
“Main samajhti hoon." she said, “Aur main ismain aapke saath hoon.”
Another silence-this one heavier.
Iqbal stepped closer, lowering his voice. “Ek galti,” he said, “aur sab kuch barbaad.”
Inayat held his gaze. “Toh koi galti nahi hogi.”
For a brief moment, neither of them looked away.
Firdos broke the tension, gesturing toward a section of the factory. “Aao,” he said.
“Tumhe operation ka asli markaz dekhna chahiye.”
As they walked, Inayat allowed herself one fleeting glance toward the emergency exit in the distance.
'Right on time… she hoped.
Firdos led them through the factory, explaining each section with quiet pride-machines humming, systems running in sync.
“Yeh sab aapas mein jude hue hai,” he said.
“Ek jagah glitch aaye, toh poora system effect hota hai.”
Inayat observed everything carefully-every exit, every blind spot, every possible route. Iqbal, on the other hand, watched the people more than the place.
Within moments, workers and supervisors began leaving their stations, heading toward the canteen. The once-busy floor started to empty, falling into an uneasy silence.
Firdos gave a slight, awkward smile. “Lunch break.”
Just then, his phone rang.
He glanced at the screen-his expression shifted, just slightly.
“Excuse me,” he said quickly.
He stepped aside, lowering his voice as he answered. But his tone quickly grew tense.
“…main busy hoon abhi… tum samajh kyun nahi rahi…....”
Inayat and Iqbal continued walking, now exploring the area on their own.
Form afar they could hear firdos who seemed to have an argument with his wife.
" dekhoo tumhara dimag kharab ho chuka hai samjhi .....jayad akad dikhayii toh tumhe talaq de dunga"
A loud explosion tore through one of the outer units of the factory.
Dust and smoke filled the air.
Iqbal turned instantly, alert. Inayat was already facing him.
Her expression-strangely calm. Too calm.
For a brief second, time seemed to freeze.
Right where Firdos had been standing, still on the call.
The impact echoed through the structure.
Inayat took a look at her watch, her face unreadable and looked up at Iqbal.
Iqbal’s eyes locked onto hers.
Without hesitation, he turned, grabbing a nearby copper rod, his grip tightening around it.
He stepped closer, his voice no longer calm.
This time Iqbal was fully enraged.
He said throwing draggers at her with eyes.
" Apni ammi se jaake puch "
She said standing straight.
He swung the rod to hit her but she ducked in time and punched him in the face. Iqbal stumbled and fell. Inayat pulled out her gun but before she could aim, Iqbal hit her hand and the gun fell down and she clutched her wrist before losing balance. Iqbal panted and hurried to pick the gun up, but Inayat kicked him on his knee and he lost balance.
Iqbal groaned loudly as his head hit one of the tables, Inayat stumbled up and glanced at her now bruised - bleeding wrist. She walked up towards the gun and picked it up aiming at major Iqbal who was trying to stand still.
Inayat kicked him on the injured leg again. Iqbal staggered back, pain shooting through his body, but his eyes stayed locked on Inayat.
He let out a breathless, almost disbelieving laugh.
“Tum samajhti bhi ho tumne kya kiya hai?” he said, voice shaking with anger.
“Altif abbu ko pata chala na… tumhari zindagi khatam.”
Inayat’s voice remained steady-cold, almost detached.
“Unka badwe ka hisaab ho chuka hai.”
For a moment, the words didn’t register.
Iqbal’s expression changed-shock, then rage.
His jaw tightened, anger surging through him.
“Tumhe andaza bhi hai tumne kya kiya diya hai? Chain of command… poora network”
Before he could finish, he lunged toward her.
Two sharp shots rang out.
Iqbal collapsed, the force knocking him back to the ground. A cry tore out of him as he struggled to move.
Inayat stepped forward, gun still steady in her hand.
He looked up at her-and then, suddenly, started laughing.
“Yeh khatam nahi hoga,” he said between breaths.
“Tumhe ehsaas hora hai ki tum jeet gayi? Nahi… log aayenge… aur zyada… aur zyada”
His voice rose, almost delirious now.
" SAARE HINDUSTANI KAFIROON KA KHATNA KARUNGA --"
" UNSE KALMA PADWAUNGA MEIN....–"
" Islam kabul karwaunga ..."
He said while laughing like a mainac.
Inayat crouched down in front of him, her expression unreadable.
For a moment, she just watched him.
She took a deep breath as her pulses hammered hard her entire body was shaking from rage internally. She closed her eyes as her brain commanded her to wake up.
Then, quietly- she opened her eyes and then took a stable breath
He kept laughing and it was ringing in her ears.
She leaned closer, her voice dropping to a whisper.
“ Filhal...Apne khuda se kehna… tumhare liye jannat ke darwaje khule rakhe...”
Iqbal’s laughter faltered for the first time. His face twisted into something- like fear something that makes you rethink your decisions.
then she pulled out a knife from her pocket and without a beat started to stab him straight on the neck- brutal - harsh - gruesome – well deserved.
Silence fell between them-heavy, final.

At door of the room there was a man tall, bulky standing there concernedly looking at the woman helping herself up. Inayat spared him a glance. Maksood ali - her companion - she motioned with her good hand towards Iqbal and walked out through emergency exit while limping slightly.
The sun was shining on the head. Inayat sat on the ground on her knees, her body crashing down due to the exhaustion. Her soul took over the emotions, her eyes welled up.Her hands trembled due to the pain in her body. She pulled out her phone and called the number she was hesitating to call since a long time.
" Hello Inaya-t " said hamza.
His heart hammered against his chest as he sat on the edge of his bed.
" Main-... jaa rahi hoon... hamza."
She said her lips quivering and tears flowing freely.
Hamza sucked in a sharp breath and tried to stabilize his voice as his eyes filled up.
" Ek baar apna naam sunna... tha tumse."
He said trying to sound calm.
" Naam toh nahi bataya ji aapne..."
She said with a low chuckle trying to laugh. Hamza on the other hand closed his eyes lightly.
" Jaskirat, Jaskirat Singh Rangi. "
He said taking steady small breaths.
She whispered like a vow. Hamza couldn't help but shut his eyes tighter as more tears flowed.
She said again lowly closing her eyes as if memorising the name. This time hamza couldn't help but let out a small sob as Inayat's heart clenched.
" Apna naam toh batao a- "
Hamza started but stopped in middle at the small beep on the other hand.
He said trying to get a response which was lame because she had already disconnected the call.
Inayat cried hard till her eyes were red and face swollen. The emotions she felt were unexplainable and she sobbed for a while clutching the phone tightly. She got up, stumbling and limped a few steps towards the broken window and threw her phone inside. She limped back a few steps and then moved towards a car parked at a distance.
She opened the door and pulled out a phone from the deck drawer, as she turned and saw the tall bulky man walking out as he approached her, he pointed towards the top of the factory where on one of the pole hanged the body of Iqbal one of the biggest ISI chief commander/terrorist.
" Kash....ye manzar sara jahan dekh pata.....khair"
She said as she clicked a picture of the veiw.
They both sat in the car as maksood sent the photo to the chief of Indian intelligence agency. He stared driving away handing the phone to Inayat as she called on the number putting it on speaker.
As the call was answered. The entire factory blasted. The explosion was huge. After waiting for a few seconds Inayat took the phone near her ear to converse with the chief.
