Residents of Hutchins, Texas, successfully blocked the conversion of a local warehouse into an ICE detention center after a weeks-long campa
To my Canadian followers, here is a petition on the House of Commons website aiming to revoke permissions that would allow ICE offices to operate on Canadian soil, and to cancel funding and subsidies to Canadian companies who are arming ICE agencies with services, goods, and surveillance technologies that would further enable the lawlessness and abuses that ICE has committed. When you sign, you must click on the confirmation email link that will be sent to the email you sign with in order to verify your signature, otherwise it will not be counted.
For my non-Canadian followers, please share this petition and hopefully this will further the reach to other Canadian users on this platform. It is abominable that any company in this country help or in any way facilitate the unconstitutional and dehumanising acts that ICE has done.
In my city of Vancouver, we have been protesting and boycotting Hootsuite, a social media platform that has a $2M USD contract with DHS providing them with social media services from 2024 to 2029. Hootsuite claims they don't use tracking or surveillance with their tools, but the mere fact that they have chosen to work with the violent group in whatever social media capacity, despite previously *turning down* a contract with them back in 2020, is egregious.
Jim Pattison Group is a enormous conglomerate also based in Vancouver, owned and run by one man, Jim Pattison. Pattison previously considered selling an industrial building in Virginia to ICE for them to use as another "holding and processing facility," or more accurately, a goddamn concentration camp, but because of backlash he reversed that decision. Thank fucking god for that, but that does not mean he won't consider it again in the future.
In Ontario, ICE ordered 20 armoured vehicles from a Brampton firm called Roshel to the tune of $7.3M USD. Canada should not be arming a violent group that has shown itself to be nothing more than a racist group of masked kidnappers and power-tripping thugs that has violated the rights of US citizens and immigrants and violated numerous court orders.
I'm disgusted that there are Canadian companies that are willingly partnering with DHS and ICE despite the carnage that has been documented over the last year. It is exactly why I've signed this petition and am sharing it with you. Do not let any Canadian companies think they can rest easy by choosing to work with a violent group that is terrorising, abusing, and murdering US citizens of all walks of life, all at the orders of a fascist government run by abusers and tyrants.
A young woman produced a PA system in the middle of the crowd. Everybody circled around it as people took turns making speeches.
A young man took the mic. He couldn’t have been more than 20.
“Y’ALL. NOBODY IS COMING TO SAVE US. WE MADE HISTORY YESTERDAY. WE WENT ON GENERAL STRIKE. WE SHUT DOWN THIS WHOLE FUCKING CITY. THAT’S THE BEST WEAPON THE PEOPLE HAVE, WE’RE THE ONES WHO MAKE THE WORLD RUN AND WE’RE THE ONES WHO CAN MAKE IT STOP. BUT ONE DAY’S NOT ENOUGH. WE GOTTA KEEP IT GOING INTO MONDAY.”
The crowd broke out into thunderous applause, cheering and drumming rhythmically on the dumpster lids. The young man started a chant: “NO MORE MINNESOTA NICE! MONDAY MINNESOTA STRIKE!”

An Irish activist operating from the Netherlands is weaponizing the same technology ICE uses against migrants to expose thousands of federal
A week after ICE agent Jonathan Ross shot Renee Nicole Good three times in her car on a snowy Minneapolis street, a Department of Homeland Security employee had seen enough. The whistleblower gave Dominick Skinner, a 31-year-old Irish immigration activist living in the Netherlands, the personal information of roughly 4,500 ICE and Border Patrol personnel—2,000 frontline enforcement agents and 2,500 support staff. The leak, which Skinner received in mid-January, represents one of the largest breaches of federal law enforcement data in recent history. “It is a sign that people aren’t happy within the U.S. government, clearly,” Skinner told me in an exclusive Q&A this week with Migrant Insider. “The shooting was the last straw for many people,” he added. ICE List, which Skinner founded in June 2025 as mass deportation operations accelerated under the Trump administration’s second term, already had the names of 2,000 immigration enforcement personnel. The new leak more than tripled his database. The site uses facial recognition AI—trained on video footage of masked agents during raids—to unmask and identify federal officers, then cross-references the results with public databases and social media accounts.

Skinner and a small team—assisted by more than 500 volunteers across America—continue adding names daily. Hotel staff send guest lists. Baristas photograph names written on ICE agents’ coffee cups. Community members blow whistles and honk horns when unmarked government vehicles roll through their neighborhoods.
