I get the feeling yeah, I'm not applying this year but I was complimented on my work by a representative of the school and like? I don't know how to feel about it now cause of all the discorse

the big draw for me is that its individual student films, compared to a lot of the schools i visit which do group films (in theory group films are really good but i feel like in practice its pretty stifling to new mediums and styles and tends towards one person trying to do all the design and animation work while other people are in charge of “”””boring work”””” like layouts and editing)  i’ll also say i go to the character animation showcase every year and i haven’t noticed one overwhelming style, i dont know where people are getting that from
