Q: worst pick up lines
Nicola: The worst pick up line I ever had was I was at this hotel in LA having a drink, and I walked to the bathroom and this guy jumped out from behind a pillar, and was like: "Hi!". And I said "Hi", and he was like: "Did you know that dentists think that you should floss after you brush your teeth and not before?"
Dom: You told me you liked that, and I stand by that it's good solid information that everyone should know.
Matt: This is a great pick up line, I've been sold.
Isaiah: He told you dentists...what?
Nicola: I know what it was, he was like "Do you floss your teeth before or after you brush?" and he had literally just popped out from behind a pillar and I was like "er.. before?" and he was like "Dentists say you should do it after!" And I was like "...coool..." and then there was this super awkward silence and then he asked me something else, and I... he asked me if I was from LA, and I said "I'm from Canada" and he was like "I guess I can't date you then", and I said "Well actually you can't date me because I'm not available and I'm not interested." And he was like, "oh, okay", and that was the end of it.
Matt: No, it's because you're Canadian apparently. That's the only thing.
Dom: Oh, you're Canadian, oh that's a shame. I was going to share more flossing tips with you throughout our beautiful love affair of the future, nevermind. Have a wonderful rest of your life. That's just fucking weird.
Matt: I do want to ask a question Nicola, who flosses their teeth before they brush?!
Nicola: I thought that's what you were supposed to do, because you floss it, and then you brush it off.
Emeraude: No, you're supposed to brush, floss, and then rinse.
Matt: Yeah!
Emeraude: Brushing helps...

Will: The thing is, after all this, we're still talking about this guy, so he's clearly done something right!

Nicola: But if you floss after, then you get all the shit out of your teeth after and then it's left in your mouth!

Emeraude: So when you brush you are helping everything come out, that way when you're flossing there's less of it in your mouth, and then at the end...
Dom: Well, if you want to look at it logically, brushing doesn't get in between the places that the floss does, so you're not actually loosening anything
Emeraude: You're supposed to brush your gums, and then your teeth...
Dom: I don't floss
