This distinctive red, brown, and gold doublet was first seen being worn by Toby Regbo in a promotional image for 𝑹𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒏 in 2013, though the piece is not known to have been worn in the show itself, and may originate with an earlier production. The costume eventually found its way into the @TaylorSwift music video for 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑶𝒑𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒂, where it was worn by @Whyleyy as a pirate. The piece was changed slightly, with the ties worn much looser. A panel of red velvet appears to have been added along the bottom of the doublet to give it additional length.
