Part 1 of 22 for my Major Arcana Tarot project that I’m working on! I plan on using main characters, protags and villians from parts 1-6 for this series!
This is the first time I’ve ever drawn Iggy, and I’m very happy that he at least resembles a dog.
Of course for the Crusaders, I plan on keeping their stand and tarot card relations(jotaro&the star, kakyoin&hierophant, Joseph&Hermit, etc.) however, with everyone else, I am trying to match their personalities and characteristics with the card associations. For example, Bruno will be the character for the hanged man due to its definition of the ultimate surrender, sacrifice, or being suspended in time. I’m making this connection due to how (PART 5 SPOILERS) after bringing Trish to Diavolo, Bruno is faced with the reality of what the boss really wants to do to his daughter. So, Bruno then makes the decision to betray the boss and sacrifice himself and his safety in the process, and still living on the borrowed time that Giorno had given to him after being “healed”. Hence, the being suspended in time, Bruno is technically already dead and gone, but his soul is still clinging to what borrowed time in his body that he was given.
I’ve put a *ton* of thought into this.
