I got to see one of my bucket list insects- a blue ant (Diamma bicolor)! She's actually a wasp, not a ant (though they're both Hymenoptera). So so pretty. 🥹🥹

This is actually not an ant at all, but it actually a species of wasp. The females are wingless, and thus resemble large ants.
The females parastize mole crickets.
