Did you know that the Blue Ant (Diamma bicolor) isn't an ant and is only kinda blue? These are actually wingless wasps native to southeastern Australia and Tasmania. Most wasps like these target beetles, but not the Blue Ant. The Blue Ant targets mole crickets, paralyzing them and laying her eggs in the cricket for the larva to eat.

A bit difficult to focus on the eye for this one
Is Bronwen Price AI? Legitimate question. Just finished Gibson's Patten Recognition read by Shelly Frasier and was very comfortable. For whatever reason the rest of that series is not available, and the blue ant editions that cone up when searched for are the Bronwen Price editions. Starting Spook Country and its already fucking horrible; the cadence and pronunciation is off and feels artificial. Apologies to her if she isa real person, but she's no Shelly Frasier, I can say that with confidence.
Back in the mid-2000s I was reading William Gibson’s first two Blue Ant books and I just couldn’t grasp the concept of coolhunting and the underground marketing he described.
Recently I realized. It’s influencers. His marketing concepts are our entire social media scene. It might be time for a re-read.
