funny story: when I was a kid either my moms didn't tell me that they were speaking two different languages, or I forgot that they told me that, so I just thought everyone's parents spoke differently from each other. like everyone's parents all spoke differently, and when you became an adult you had to pick one way to talk forever

so when I went to school for the first time, I thought the teacher was crazy because she spoke like my mom did and I just thought that only she could talk like that

I bet that was a weird conversation to have...

though I do think after that they changed how they taught me both languages at the same time, heheh

there was also that period where I refused to speak and only talked in sign, that was when I was like... nine or something like that, not five. I dunno what brought that on either, just felt like bein' a little shit I guess. also only lasted for like a day before I got frustrated because I kept forgetting stuff
