When I decided to put my #WearableProzac story on hiatus, I just knew I needed a break. I'd been toying with the idea of doing a dedicated @WearableProzac page, but I knew I wasn’t going to relaunch with just any jewel: It had to be perfect—a swoon-worthy synthesis of design, artistry, and execution—and, as the name implies, it had to trigger an uptake of serotonin when I saw it. Immediately, I thought back on this stunning #Platinum necklace strung with beautifully-matched #NaturalSardinianCoral, #BlackOnyx, and nearly 28cts of round #DiamondBriolettes, that I first fondled in @AssaelPearls’ booth during @By_COUTURE at @WynnLasVegas, last summer: A delectable fusion of #ArtDeco (the combination of the stones and colors) and #Mod (the graduating sizes of the #OnyxRondelles lend the piece an #OpArt vibe), that manages to be utterly timeless. Then a funny thing happened: in addition to some great images, ASSAEL’s fabulous @PeggGrosz sent me this video; and as I opened it in one window, another window was playing a video of #JudyGarland and @BarbraStreisand singing their iconic duet of #GetHappy and #HappyDaysAreHearAgain, from #TheJudyGarlandShow.
