joever is so interesting because the thing about joe not knowing the pop star version of taylor didn’t make sense to me at first since she was on the highest grossing north american tour when they were together and was very much around during lover promo/release. and he seemed to be nothing but supportive during that time. obviously she wasn’t as big as she is now and thought her career was winding down but i could def see his ego coming in the way as she only got bigger and his career plateaued. i also think during rep/lover she was still getting back up on her feet and over time she became more comfortable with certain aspects of her celebrity while he did not. imo the extreme privacy was more of a trauma response for taylor while for joe it was how he preferred to live. sorry for this long ass essay lmao

i agree with all of this! and fwiw i think there was some Tension during rep tour between them. anyway, i think he thought he’d be fine with all of it, but apparently not! and as time went on, he maybe resented her and indirectly and inadvertently ended up stifling her, while she kept trying. i think you hit the nail on the head with “imo the extreme privacy was more of a trauma response for taylor while for joe it was how he preferred to live” and why they worked early on.

Hey LA Swiftie friends, heads up that @ cody-johnson, who has a blog claiming to actually be the singer cody johnson, is a scammer messaging people saying he has good lower bowl LA tickets for sale. He got really upset at me when I asked him for proof about the tickets and/or his identity and them trying to turn the tables on you is the biggest proof that they're a scammer. I'm posting about it because I know he messaged others besides me, so I just want to make sure that nobody falls for it
