We are now a dealer for Element 119 SYSTEM X Ceramic coatings. We will now offer our guitars & paint jobs with a Ceramic coating for $50 additional or we’ll ceramic coat your guitar for $125 (guitar needs to be in like new condition though, no beat up or scratched up guitars) If your unfamiliar with Ceramic coatings, what it is especially is an incredibly thin type of polish that’s wiped on (then cures) that not only gives a super slick feel (perfect for the backs of necks) but is incredibly hard. Ceramic is a 9H hardness. A diamond is 10H. Clear coats used on guitars are in the 2H to 4H range (depending on type of finish and brand). Having your guitar ceramic coated is going to eliminate you from scratching it from playing or just from wiping it off, etc. The System X Ceramic is a permanent coating, so it’s never going to wear off. It is not available in stores over the counter and there’s strict guidelines on who they’ll sell to as it is extremely important the surface is prepped properly prior to application. System X is used on everything from Exotic cars, to Private Jets & Yacht’s.
