Checkout this Gibson Les Paul Studio we just did a transformation on for a customer. We painted the guitar Kandy Ultra Sonic Blue, went over that with some Ice Pearl & painted on a silver binding around the body. We installed: All new electronics, @tonepros bridge & tailpiece, locking Grover tuners, @bareknucklepickupsofficial nailbomb pickups, new back plates, new truss rod cover, new pickup rings, new jack plate and Schaller locking strap buttons & black tusq nut. Ugh we have always wanted to make a youtube since youtubers became a thing. And now with everything happening in the world and the DID community, and with us self-isolating, it would be such a great time... except for the fact that we could only record on our phone. And X is very much a perfectionist and has always wanted to at least have a good video camera and microphone before we started but we don’t have the financial means for that rn. So its just been a constant battle of just do it with crappy quality but plenty of time to devote to it, or wait for the good quality equipment but possibly no long have the time or energy to produce anything. I don’t know we’ll probably put it off forever aghhh

Just autistic things

Sometimes, even though I have my typical scripted lines for casual conversations, I forget to or don’t have the energy to use the proper intonations and pitch so then people think I’m being mean or bitchy or weird, but really I am never one to be intentionally bitchy or mean because I’m always desperately trying to be socially acceptable and just following the only social skills I know as best I can. And then I dwell on how I said it all day and what I could’ve done better for next time lmao

Happy New Year from our system and X’s fiance @elspttrssn 🎆💕 its also our 2 year anniversary so we went on a little date today, 2 weeks until we move back home and we literally can’t wait! This year is gonna be ours!

We did a thing

We’re trying to get more organized and actually try to function healthily and cohesively as a system. We finally set up a system journal and we bought hair bands to use as fronting indicators! We’re all excited and hoping that this will help us and X’s fiancé be more aware of who’s out and what’s happening. These probably seem like really small easy things but it’s a big step for us! Now we just have to follow through and actually use them! Wish us luck (:

ASD Struggles

One of the biggest things that impact me negatively from being on the spectrum is the lack of proper executive functioning. It’s not talked about as much as a lot of other ASD struggles, but I feel it has put me at a huge disadvantage in my young adult life. This year I have noticed it far more now that my fiancé and I are living on our own thousands of miles away from our family and we have both struggled with severe depression all throughout the year, further inhibiting normal functionality. There are very important things that needed to be done within the first few months after the move that have STILL not been done and it’s been over a year now... I don’t have proper insurance, my car is all sorts of messed up, I need to go to the doctor, my fiancé needs to go to the doctor but even when I have energy and am not depressed it all becomes so overwhelming that I can never figure out how or where to start. I’m drowning and panicking and still just let all of these priorities fly by. I feel useless and lazy. I don’t know what to do anymore. Just let me sink.
