I actually worry about contemplating Misha in public, because I get these ~stars~ in my eyes, haha. And yeah, the panel itself was fun, but I was so tense afterwards! The fandom always goes insane, even if it's mostly non-information that we get. I spent most of the day after the panel waiting for the inevitable wank, lol.
My entire thought process upon seeing Misha: It’s, oh fuck, Misha, it’s Misha, it’s Misha oh my god, oh my god he is, he’s beautiful, how is he so much more beautiful in person, Misha, Misha, he’s glowing, he’s in the sunlight and he’s glowing, he’s here, oh my god, I could touch him, Misha, so beautiful, cheekbones, I’m dying, oh my god, I can see his halo, how is he Misha oh my GOD.
And lol yup *shakes head at wank*. Recently for fandomdebunker research, I was rewatching everything from SDCC 2011. That was hiatus before season 7. And I was just struck with how much truth they managed to tell us without actually telling us everything. Like, everyone speaking at the panel knew that Cas was going to die in the second episode. But nobody else did. So they fielded all these questions about Cas playing God and they gave all this great information — but we didn’t know that all of it only applied to the first episode.
So we probably got a lot of facts, but context? Priorities? Significance? Nope. Misha says laundromat scene? That could be adorable domestic clothes-washing, or it could be crazy fallen angels rampaging through laundromat and destroying everything in a wreckage of exploding dryers.
