Dan Heng isn’t normally physically affectionate. Dianthus is used to this and fine with it. Then, when Dan Heng unthinkingly grabs his hand on a mission when they need to run, Dianthus gets full body shudders despite the situation.

On a similar note, Dan Heng’s usual style of dress covers his body. When Dianthus sees his Yinyue-jun form (which isn’t even that scandalous, just an exposed shoulder and a chest window) he also has a very normal, light reaction. Just, you know, blushing in a way that is immediately noticeable to everyone around him, avoiding eye contact so no one catches him staring (they all do), giggling and pretending it’s nerves…
