I've read too many classpecting posts, so i'm gonna try it out myself.
I used Dahin's aspect post, you should check them out, their did a real great job.

Mao Mao's classpect: Heir of Hope
One who Invites Manipulation of Hope or one who Invites Manipulation through Hope
Let's begin simple, the canon explanation from the Extended Zodiac describes those bound by hope are
"driven by their convictions" and "their views can be quite black and white." - EZ
which perfectly fits into Mao Mao's world view of "Heroes, Villains & civilians" mindset.
"the ability to dream up a better and more beautifull future." - EZ
Mao Mao's entrie goal in life is to fullfill his dream to become a hero of the likes that his family respects, to prove that he can be as great as his father and sisters. Even if his father is shown to not belief in him at all (till the ep. "Small"), he still clings to it and holds it to such value that he only shared it with Badgerclops once (who's his most trusted friend).
"Heirs of Hope would be firm believers in their chosen faith and have absolute trust in something, be it a person, thing, religion, spirituality etc." -Dahni
On the topic of his family, the famous rulebook of heroism that Mao Mao follows is a cemented truth for him. He believes wholeheartedly that it has to be followed, only when it stands directly in his way to be a hero, he caves and listens to his friends.
He also beliefs that his sword is special and even, somehow, gets it to make a special move, even if the show hints that it's not special at all.
"...but they aren't adverse to a little destruction, especially if they think they can replace it with something better and more just." - EZ
The ep "Outfoxed" and "Legend of the Torbaclaun" are examples where Mao Mao just can't let the truth go under, doing everything and anything to show the "truth", resorting to more and more... aggressive methodes.
Speaking of aggressive, everytime Mao Mao entcounters something that doesn't fit into his view/ he can't understand ect. he gets frustrated and angry with it.
It's shown in many episodes, that he's quick to anger if he's called out, doesn't understand ect. It clearly comes from his upbringing and also Bao Bao's "betrayl", where Mao Mao gear is green (symbolic of navivity and inexperience) which fits cause he seems rather young and cheerfull.
"Unconditional Love and Trust, it is warm open accepting arms..." - EZ
is what Bao Bao was for Mao Mao before he left for the first time, something that was lacking in his life before they met and teamed up.
Which is most likely the also the point in Mao Mao's Hero journey where inverts himself.
/Inversion of one's classpect is a proven homestuck theory, I'll link in the sources.
TL;DR - Very aspect/class in homestuck has a corrensponding aspect/class. Like a yin-yang, i guess.
Canon example: Rose - Seer of Light inverts to Witch of Void in the comics and goes grimdark./
Well, the aspiring hero inverts himself into a Mage of Rage: One who Knows with Rage or Knows Rage
Mages are known to suffer from a overwhelming amount of their aspect, suffering under it, but also gaining a unique understanding through that.
"A Mage of Rage is one who might suffer from great anger and fear. If their own, they can be prone to uncontrollable inconsolable rages and temper tantrums or they can be prone to inconsolable terrors and paranoia." -Dahni
"...a necessity for them to always be on their guard, always watching out for those that might do them harm." - Dahni
"if they experienced it harming them before, like a suspicious gift from another, or a certain poison they’ve experienced before." -Dahni
No one can tell me Mao Mao isn't paranoid, filled with insecurities and fears of failure and that his friends will leave him if he doesn't meet his own way to high expectations.
More evidence from the is that Mao Mao inverted himself to a certain point are:
"They posses great contempt for lies or false ideas, including the stability that false ideas can impart. To them, the true is far more important than the good; they would tear down a system just to destabilize it if, by their reckoning, it is built on faulty premises." -EZ
The episode "Outfoxed" is a good example, even when they were real scam artists.
"They are bringers of confusion and doubt, and they can be frustratingly difficult to convince otherwise when they have attached themselves to an idea." -EZ
Just everytime, someone tries to convince Mao Mao to tweak his worldview, or at least try something before he judges it.
All in all, Mao Mao hasn't gone off the deep end like Rose in the canon counterpart and with the new enviorment and the positive influences of his friends and people of "Pure Heart Valley", his chance to better himself and not become a vicious ruthless rulekeeper and indirect a villain are good.
But that's just my take. Feel free to add your own opinion, I'm open for other takes.
Hello! I'm Dahni Witch of Light! I write a lot about Homestuck's SBURB, God Tier and Land Quest (aka...
Dahni's classpect explainations:
Keywords: Unconditional Love or Trust, Confirmation, Harmony, Acceptance, Naive Optimism, Belief, Positivity, Euphoria, Getting the 'Green L

Now, bear with me again. This is one of those theories that you think of when you're first reading the comic, then say "nahh
On inversion... is there a chart I can get on these things, like witch is opposite of seer, and stuff. 'Cause I'm confused.
yeah I can make
