Currently thinking about: unwilling preds
Mostly, i’m thinking of those scenarios where like... the pred & prey are thrown into a situation that they’re way out of their depth on, and it basically comes down to “pred has to eat them or they’ll die/be in serious danger.”
And pred is like “I hate this. I hate everything about this. Can I do literally anything else,” but eventually conclude that there is no choice.
So pred ends up very reluctantly trying to figure out exactly how the hell prey is going to fit down their throat. They keep looking at prey, because they’re very large and they have no real idea how they’re going to make this work, but time is against them, so they go for it anyways.
It’s awkward, very awkward, swallowing another person. It’s... a person. On their tongue, in their mouth, moving down their throat. Pred does not like this at all, but at least prey isn’t squirming all that much.
Prey actually arriving in their stomach is wildly overwhelming. Food is not supposed to move, and it’s not supposed to be so heavy, and holy fuck this was the worst idea ever, actually.
It takes some time to adapt, which may or may not be provided, but pred eventually learns to deal with it enough to get out of whatever situation. They still don’t like that it’s another person, but it’s also.... not as bad as they’d thought at first. It’s not like being full is a bad feeling, and prey is safe. Probably safer than they’ve ever been, or at least safer than pred’s ever been able to keep them. It’s almost nice, in a way. Could do without all the eating people stuff, but it’s... nice.
Bonus points if prey falls asleep inside of them as well. Because then they could get them out now, but.... they’re resting, and they haven’t had good rest in a long time... it couldn’t hurt to let them sleep just a bit longer.
Extra bonus points if pred also falls asleep.
