Dice Head Light, Castine, Maine. In July, 1931, a non-swimmer found herself stranded on a rock as the tide came in. She was there for five or six hours before being rescued by the lighthouse's final keeper,  Vurney L. King.

By the early 1800s, Castine was a busy shipbuilding town and a vital entrepot with a bustling harbor. In 1829, U.S. Government established the Dice Head Lighthouse to mark the port. https://www.us-lighthouses.com/dice-head-lighthouse
