I have recently started writing a superhero story?? And the main character is one of a pair of twins and they used to be superheroes together as they have the same abilities which work really well together in tandem? But her twin disappeared (considered MIA) so she refused to work alone or with a replacement so she retired (something frowned upon in society as she was still technically "capable" of hero-ing) and she lives a very plain life away from any news of heroes or anything. (1/3)

sisters and superpowers? did you mean: sign me the fuck up? this sounds like the ultimate unlikely allies to partners narrative and i am 100% here for it. i’m a big fan of the idea that you can add just about any trope to a superhero story and it’ll work beautifully, and i think this is all the evidence that needs. (also, consider me on board with this ex-hero/bounty hunter ship, because i am 1000% sold already.)

also ALSO, please, please tell me you’re calling it yeehaw superpowers. i’d buy ten copies of that book just to say that i did.
