hello im maya and im making a new pinned post to be your one stop shop introduction to me/my work!!

im a fat, queer artist and author best known for my size inclusive skirts with huge pockets, and other apparel.

as well as my my queer polyamorous fantasy/romance novel, spitfire, which i recently reworked with my editor. the original/“legacy” version is still available as a self published book on amazon, but once the final touches are complete i’ll be self publishing it again using different means.

Maya Kern May - Day 27

Day 27 of my quest to wear all my Maya Kern skirts in the month of May.

The Final Fit! And the one my wife has been most excited for all month.

It's the Funeral Mini with pattern by @mayakern. Sometimes you just gotta fully embrace your hot goth energy and just go for it. The pattern is so lovely and delicate while still being dark and a little dangerous. Definitely had the most fun putting this one together.

And that's the end, everybody. Will probably do a little recap tomorrow, but for now, that's all I got. A huge thanks to Maya, her team, all the artists she's collaborated with, and everyone who has been hyping me up this month. It's been so fun and I love that I get to share such a wonderful creator with all of you.

Today is the amazing Gallery Midi with pattern by @mayakern. I shudder to think how long it took to paint every individual frame and painting. It's awe inspiring.

Day 23 of my quest to wear all my Maya Kern skirts in the month of May.

Only 5 days left! Today is the Thistle (Dark) Mini with pattern by @mayakern, styled two ways. First is how I'm actually wearing it in this warm spring weather and second is how I'd wear it as soon as one (1) leaf falls on the ground. I really love the molasses brown for Autumnal looks.
