Ooooh, Lottie doesn't really have a best friend. Her landlord is a family friend, and she's extremely grateful he allows her to stay in her shitty apartment despite not being able to work outside of generally acting as a maid/nanny to him, so I guess her be the closest thing...? I mean, hes the one person she sees and talks to the most.

And Louie has various weapons he uses, as he is rather versatile, but his rifle he kept from his service is close kept treasure for him, outside of some unspoken abilities

He especially enjoys using the shoulder rest to beat things with!

Hey, I just want to thank you real quick. I had a really bad day, and I really couldn't sleep because of the stress of it all. I looked around for something to calm me down and I happened to run into your comic. Your art is beautiful and I can't wait to see more. Thank you for creating it, btw Redtail is adorably small. I love his design.

I felt compelled to respond to respond to this right away, because it brought me to the brink of good tears. I had a pretty nasty day today too (stupid Mondays ugh) and was getting pretty caught up in anxieties when I got this message. I cannot express how much this means to me. I’m gonna ramble a bit here, but I started this silly comic as pure self indulgance. Sort of therapeutic nostalgic fun. The fact that it is actually making other people happy even though it’s a personal passion project just makes me so happy beyond words, because so often it’s like we have to sacrifice huge pieces of ourselves in order to please others. ;w;

Anyway, thank you so much for this amazing message! I’m so so glad I could do something to bring some light to your day. C’: I am gonna stick to this comic to the end, and I hope it will continue to cheer people’s spirits. You guys are all so great and amazing and supportive and IM CRYING OVER HERE FROM ALL THESE GOOD FEELS AFTER A LONG DAY. I hope I won’t disappoint y'all, the pressure is definitely on! :’D
